Some industries, such as food processing, pulp and paper, and chemical manufacturing, may generate wastewater with very high COD concentrations. 3. **Specific Cases**: In certain extreme cases, such as heavily polluted water bodies or industrial discharge points, COD levels can exceed tens of thousands of mg/L. It's important to note that excessively high COD levels in wastewater can indicate significant organic pollution and pose challenges for wastewater treatment processes. Agar ap 1 ml ko 100 ml me dilute krte ho to 1ml divided by 100 ml is equal to 0.01ml. means ki dilution me sample qty 0.01ml h. Aur iske baad aap agar us diluted samle me se 0.5ml sample lete ho to calculation hogi... 0.01ml x 0.5 ml is equal to 0.005ml.

Synthesis of Ferroin Solution: - Dissolve 0.2 grams of 1,10-phenanthroline monohydrate (C12H8N2·H2O) in 100 mL of distilled water. This compound acts as the ligand in the ferroin complex. - Add 0.2 grams of ferrous ammonium sulfate hexahydrate [(NH4)2Fe(SO4)2·6H2O] to the solution. This compound serves as the source of iron(II) ions. - Stir the mixture until all solids are dissolved. - Adjust the pH of the solution to around 3 using dilute sulfuric acid (H2SO4) or sodium hydroxide (NaOH). pH adjustment is necessary to ensure optimal color development and stability of the indicator. 2. Standardization of Ferroin Solution: - Prepare a stock solution of potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) with a known concentration. This will be used as a primary standard for the standardization process. - Pipette a known volume (e.g., 10 mL) of the potassium dichromate stock solution into a conical flask. - Add an excess amount of sulfuric acid (H2SO4) to acidify the solution. - Titrate the potassium dichromate solution with the ferroin indicator until a color change occurs. Firustly aapne 1ml sample dilute in 100ml d. water. Secondly aapne 0.5ml plus 9.5ml asamja nahi
