For waiting list tickets booked under CJT, you have to follow the same procedure as a normal reservation ticket. You have to wait until chart preparation. After that if confirmed then you can proceed or else as per rules you are not allowed to travel on a reserved coach. Thank you 😊👍🏼

In CJT you can book your ticket in advance also brother. Jaise hi apko CJT mil jata hai, ussi waqt aap counter me jaakar CJT ki madad se pure route ka ticket pehle hi advance me book kar sakte hai. Hi Ashish, Circular Journey Reservation Ticket is only for "reservation coach". So you can apply CJT for SL and upper coaches but not the unreserved one. But if you have a SL class CJT, you can travel in an unreserved coach in the mentioned route without getting any additional reservation ticket. (But it will not reduce your journey cost when you wish to travel by general unreserved class, and you have a CJT of SL class). Thank you 👍

Balangir comes under East coast region (ECoR). And it's under Sambalpur division. So I think your DCM will be in Sambalpur area. Just ask at the ticket counter of Balangir or the station manager of Balangir station. He/she can easily confirm you that where you can meet the DCM in your nearby region. And yes now you can do the circular ticket, but only thing is that currently the additional 40 to 50% discount for senior citizen is stopped temporarily after COVID. Hi Digant, Answering your first question, No, you cannot book your ticket from Mallikaarjun (Markapur station-MRK) if your main CJT ticket doesn't have a halt mentioned at MRK. Alternatively what you can do is, from Ahmedabad you can take your first halt at MRK itself, and then tirupati, Chennai and so on.. Thus I think you will have a total of 7 halts in your entire trip as per your plan. Now answering your second question, Yes, you can book retiring rooms at all halting places. It will not be based on your CJT, but it will be on the basis of PNR of your individual reservation tickets of every lap of travel. Hope your queries are solved. Yes, book kar sakte hai. Retiring room apke reservation ticket k PNR k aadhaar par booking hoga (CJT ticket se nahi). Isliye aapke pass jitne travel k reservation ticket honge, sabka alag PNR hoga aur un sab tickets se aap alag alag jagah par retiring room booking kar sakte hai. Thank you ☺️👍🏼

First check for availability in trains and confirm bearth in all your desired routes, and then apply for CJT as I have mentioned in the video. But remember that only 8 halts are permissible in a circular journey ticket. Thank you 😊👍

Hello Jayashri, First of all please understand that the Circular Journey Ticket (CJT) is a "blank paper ticket" so it's not a reservation ticket or unreserved coach ticket with which you can travel in the train. It's just like a rail warrant which is used during actual ticket reservation for concession in ticket cost. So if you want to travel with CJT, then after getting the CJT you must have to book a reservation ticket or unreserved ticket (by using the CJT) to board any train. So to get a confirmed seat you have to apply for CJT in well advance, and in your desired route check seat availability first and then go for CJT option. Or else if you book CJT at last moment, then you can book a waiting list reservation ticket with the CJT and wait for it's confirmation or RAC status till chart preparation, or speak with TC after boarding the train for seat confirmation (if there is any empty berth). Hi Aadil... Aaisa to koi all Indian Railway pass jaisa kuch nahi hai jisme aap har jagha do do din travel kar sake. But if your travel dates are fixed, then you can select the break journey option in which you will get maximum two halts in Between for 48 hours each. So you can select a starting destination, ending destination with two breaks in between. Thus you can cover 4 states in one ticket with a total of four halts (including boarding and deboarding points). In these tickets also you will get discounted fare price as per telescopic rate. One thing you have to note is that, you can take a break only after 500km of journey. So check the break journey video in my channel, you will give you a better idea about this break journey ticket option in Indian Railways 😊🙏🏽

Confirmed ticket availability depends on general available seats in the regular quota. There is no special quota for circular journey tickets where you can get a confirmed seat during reservation. If at the time of reservation seats are available in your desired train in general quota, then you can get a confirmed bearth or else NO.😊👍

CJT is now permitted in First AC of Rajdhani and Duronto and EC class of Shatabdi trains by paying difference of fare for distance travelled on point to point basis. - However CJT is not admissible in other flexi fare applicable classes of such trains and other trains in which variable fare is applicable.
