Why are we dividing circumference by diameter? And not the other way around?

Because π means ratio of Circumference and Diameter

Because it is constant means it taking circumference by diameter is has same value for all the circle regardless of sizes i.e 3.14…or 22/7. Which means it makes easier to calculate the value related to circle. If we take diameter by circumference the value is different for all circles therefore it cannot be taken as a value to calculate the circles.

@@thebrighter100 -Yes it is.. I have always wondered why they make it more complicated with 2 x pi x R - rather than the simpler D x pi? Never made sense to me, even in 6th grade.
