Aw thank you Rachel! It took me so long because of the CCI. I will follow your journey. CCI is a beast and so debilitating, I am so happy you have a surgeon on your team now and the care you need

@@ItsStabilityTime Totally! I can see how much work went into making it and getting the information to flow so well. Adding that you have CCI I can only imagine how much stamina it took to plan and carry out. I spent 14 years debilitated and undiagnosed until late spring of 2023. I had no idea about this issue and the more I learn, the clearer it is to me what a massive blind spot it is in our health care systems. It’s good to not be alone but it’s also heartbreaking how many of us are out there. I’m glad to find your channel because I hope to build community. So many of us go so many years isolated and without the knowledge or tools to manage our condition. I had to have surgery this fall because I became dislocated and was critical. Before that, I spent years trying to understand why I was so unwell and how to manage my condition without knowing how my neck and brain stem were linked to the wide variety of symptoms I had. I appreciate being able to learn about other peoples experiences, like yours and regenerative health.

You have gone through so much immense suffering. I know it must be indescribable. I agree, there are so many gaps! So many docs that shuffle patients around and with gaslighting very often. I think building a CCI support community is so important. I agree, it’s so isolating at times. So scary and lonely. Do you have an Instagram handle?

@@ItsStabilityTime totally. I felt that impact of being from one specialist to the next. Some wanted to help but I always heard that I was a complicated case and would be refered to the next. CCI had a lot of layers and variables in how it impacts us. I’m really glad that your voice and experiences are out here for people to hear. I don’t have Instagram, just here on KZbin.

I think it could play a factor with hormones, birth strain etc

I think i have instability with my neck. I had all sign you described and i feel my head too loose when i tried to look down. What kind of doctor do i need with this problem?.
@ItsStabilityTime Жыл бұрын
It’s complex! Because many docs have no idea what CCI is! In Canada there is no help. In the USA there are physiatrists. In the comments I linked a book from a fantastic doctor who does neck injections. Neurosurgery is needed for severe CCI

Hi, Incase you are still looking for answers: I had DMX imaging to get my AAI/CCI diagnosis. My doctor was a head and neck specialist chiropractor in Canada. I have trouble trusting doctors after 14 years struggling to find out what was wrong with me. I found this doctor exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate. He’s been doing this work for over 20 years and living with and AAI/CCI himself for over 25 years. His name is Dr. Blaskovich.
