So the DWH schemas are quite different from the OLTP schemas, which are mainly designed by ER models and UML, and tables are normalized.

Very useful information, what is Data model Size limit in power bi? Please help me on this
@BIConsultingPro2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sai, with Power BI Pro, you can have max 1 GB Dataset/data model size in .pbix file or on Power BI Service while with Premium License you can have upto 10GB Data in .pbix file. However, with incremental load, you can have a data model of upto 100 GB with PPU while with Premium you can have upto 400 GB. Please note that all these are compressed dataset sizes. In a database this size would be 10 to 12 times.

@@BIConsultingPro 1 GB limit is Including Visualization or excluding? 1GB= Dataset+visualization?
@BIConsultingPro2 жыл бұрын
@@saisrihari3992 Yes, it's .pbix limit that covers both. However, don't worry about visualizations, they consume very less space. Also, 1 GB is the compressed dataset. this is equivalent to 100 to 120 GB of data.

In simple terms, you need to set the data refresh with daily once as at least you need to refresh the daily once.
