No. It shoots out 600 cone shaped radiation waves in about 4 second. The the images then get put together to make a 3-D image. CBCT - "Cone-beam Computed tomography" 4 seconds of low radiation won't hurt you. The worker typical wears lead vests because they use the machine multi times a day over months exposing them to much more radiation than the patient.
