'Do unto others as others do to you', 'You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours', 'What's in it for me?' are unfortunately the maxims followed by today's self-centered world. Instead of looking at what we can get out of something or someone, if only we pause to reflect first on what we can give or how we can be the first to forgive, then the world would be so different. Jesus guides us on how to do that today in the Gospel by giving us the golden rule “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” The first reading is such a beautiful compilation of everything we need to do to live a life pleasing to God, thereby loving Him and loving others. Very tough to do but certainly not impossible if we cling to Him because without him we can do nothing. God bless you Fr. Warner

Good Day, Who said Christian living is easy, indeed a life of a person devoted to Christ is a Challenge and a commitment. Today i had a fwd on whatapp which said" The day you plant the seed.... is not the day you eat the fruit .....!!!, as a disciple our life is a joyous struggle the day we say " YES" and the Victory in him who is within us is on judgement day. Beautiful reflection of the day, Patience is something i struggle with and thanks be to God he gives me so many opportunities to lose it with those around. Thanks and God bless Father

Thank you Fr. Warner for your reflection today on such an important passage. It is the essence of what Christianity should look like. What Jesus wanted us to be. In the real world though we seem to living with a "Me" instead of "We" mentality. All our good intentions are not worth it if we don't put them into daily action. There are issues on both sides of the altar, but instead of playing the blame game and the judgement card we must realize our own roles and how it is much more important to work on the solution component which is so clearly mentioned in today's passage. We all want to experience the peace of Christ, but are our hearts open to receiving it? Are we letting that EGO (Elimnate Gratitude Out) get in the way? The only way is to intentionally practice these virtues daily so it becomes part of who we are and not just lip service. Easier said than done but as your apt title says, 'what is difficult is not impossible'. May God grant us all His grace so we can make him a proud Father in heaven.

Virtues to look at, can seem very simple to follow n yet when put into practice can be difficult, Why? becos we go with our emotions, we react too quickly to people n situations. We havent learnt to curb ourselves, to think before hurting someone with our words or attitudes, we haven't learnt to value our family, or our situations. For this , starting with myself we need to be conscious about putting these virtues into practice. Lord let your Spirit convict me, when I tend to forget myself, the more I practice these virtues the more I, become a better person. Thank you Father, for these daily reminders, in questioning ourselves , are we just good christians or happy Christians in Jesus.

Thank you for this enriching reflection Fr. Warner, filled with so many wonderful gifts for us to live a life of gratitude always. It's been a month now that I've started a gratitude journal which I fill in at the end of the day, reflecting on the day and all that I'm grateful for. It's like a reality check to help me in my journey of being compassionate, kind, gentle, humble and most important being appreciative of every little Blessing that God has blessed me with. Kindness indeed goes a long way.

Thank You Lord for this wonderfully propagated scripture by Fr. Warner, and for opening the ears of our hearts to listen. Fr. I must confess that I smiled. 🙂 you really got us there! This is not about me...but with relevance to today's message, would like to mention that every day I ask the Lord to help me put on love, and the valiant effort it takes to do so. And keep dying to the flesh in order to obtain and attain that which He has in store for us on earth, as it is in heaven. I believe that, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

One of the best teaching in the letter of St. Paul to the Colossians. The two arms of Christian living LOVE AND FORGIVENESS. ST PAUL emphasises the five virtues compassion kindness humility meekness and patience and above all to forgive everyone who wrongs us .Just as CHRIST Loved us and forgave .us unconditionally. So in our daily experiences it is very difficult to practice but with God's help everything in impossible. Thanks for enlightening us on the change s in our lives

"Clothe in sincere compassion, in kindness and humility, gentleness and patience. Over all these clothes, to keep them together and complete them, put on love"... how true that we are God's chosen race, his saints, He loves us. If only we abide and practice the five virtues, what immense succour and joy it will bring to our hearts. What an apt title "WHAT IS DIFFICULT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE"...if we imbibe and put into practice these virtues, this world will be a much better place to dwell in. A little effort on our part and seeking God's help will ease our situation. There is nothing that we cannot do without God's help, we have to place our faith and trust in the LORD. "In order to develop these virtues, sometimes we need to develop ourselves by learning to bear with somebody else...it should begin with me"..."an attitude of gratitude" "attitude of being grateful"... Thank you Fr. for today's scripture reflection, just six verses and the message conveyed speaks of love and humility. So let us put into practice these virtues, for practice makes a man perfect and it is this perfection that we all would cherish. Thank you Fr. for your loving service for your flock. May God bless you abundantly in your online Ministry. Prayers for you, Dad and family. AMEN!
