I said to a friend of mine back in fifa 20 that over the years grinding will lose its momentum and pick or chose SBCs and focus pay to win with the store packs and it's what has happened for me fifa 14 and 15 was fun to play with silvers and golds but with this gameplay players with any pace get caught up really easily on the ball and off the ball. They will focus of the menus and put everything in to store packs but I will say store packs are still slot machines cause they both have in common is the percentage of what u could get on a return. Ea or fifa will decline through the year it's the worst I've seen with a new rant vid a day or people streaming for small amount due to gameplay and no grindable SBCs. I honestly find it funny and ironic when the FC community glaze CoD. Like CoD is no different from FC in the sense of being reused assets with broken fundamental gameplay, old code, bad code, and mountains of greed. Folks are still in the honeymoon phase with Black Ops, but after the Christmas noobs ppl will be right back where they were last year hating the game. Either way can't glaze one greedy corporation while trash another when they virtually have the same mindset.

Thank you… glad to see someone else who’s not blinded by the “Shiny new toy” effect. Both of these games have fallen so far away from the heavyweight giants they used to be. With all the advances in technology & the ridiculous amount of money they earn they should feel embarrassed to give us such a below par gaming experience. It’s as if Activision & EA are having a competition with each other…. Who can take the biggest amount of liberties from the player base.

Another thing to point out is EA's plan is actually just relying on the player base desperation to get players. I watched Nep for the first time and saw someone in his chat say he wishes they add the option to use real money to finish player SBCs. That guy and ppl like him who willingly want to spend money is why the game is the way it is. The same stream another guy said he spent 20 pounds on FC points to open packs so he could finish the last squad of Darwin. FC community wants to find the problem with FC and EA, the problem is in the mirror.

I personally do not think that defense is too strong, its that offence is too weak. Nerfing auto defending will not fix this game, offensive AI must be buffed. Defenders play the ball like they should, and it looks natural. Offensive players however are not coded to adjust to defenders, they only adjust to the ball. You pass a through ball and defenders get in front of attacking players and do not try and change positioning to receive a pass. This is a problem with the frostbite engine being for FPS games. Things wont change until they ditch this engine.

@@y2tnbthere has been good fifa’s with the frostbite engine (FIFA 17). I think it’s the way Ea are going with animations and “realism” is what’s causing issues. But with that said I wouldn’t mind a different engine either but we all know how long that would take to make. EA aren’t known for putting in more work than they have to. So that’s not gonna happen lol.

EA College football has the same issues with receivers running their routs with no variations and just running looking stupid, only for the defender to take a better angle on the ball and make a play.

Changes will only come when a competitor rises up that it’s the balance of fun, FAIR, gameplay and grinding for rewards vs real $ spending to be competitive. When that day comes, and it will, the numbers will flock away from EA and then they will have to finally work on the game from ground up. Until then we have we have and channels like this one deserve to grow for calling it like it is. Well done and keep up the good work sir.

i said i m nit going to play anymore two weeks ago. Then I have played this weekend league anyway. so i got 7 wins and my rewards are not even enough to compensate for the price loss of my cards (nedved, vidic, bergkamp). so are we playing toward building our dream-team in teams of tactics and squad, or are we playing to survive aggressive attempts from ea to get in our pockets.
