What is Earth2.io - Explained

We explain a new game called Earth2.io, a metaverse game being built on Unity. What do you think? Check it out at earth2.io use code 'TECHWW' for 7.5% credit in game!
With Earth2, the Game creators say it is in Phase 1- meaning you can buy land, with each tile being priced differently around the world. Starting to look around the map, you’ll notice that many major cities have already been bought out. While some are saying it could be a scam, we did a lot of research to figure out who’s behind it and how players are currently investing in this game, to figure out what it could become.
In Phase 2, Land will start to generate resources that will be vital for building and economic purposes. They will also introduce “Essence”, which will be the basis of everything. It reflects the place you own, what’s in the ground and - in later upgrades - will be able to reproduce it. The Developers have said in updates that every tile in Earth 2 will be usable, every tile will produce something. However, it is possible that its special usefulness will only be revealed in a later tier. Many users have been speculating by purchasing virtual land on top of oil, gold mine, diamonds, forests and more.
In Phase 3, the developers say they will introduce the 3D terrain which will also take the game outside of just a browser and to gaming consoles like Xbox and Playstation. The game will be built on top of the Unity engine, which will allow players to easily and quickly build structures. We think that Players may be given only a few certain assets in the beginning, so they’ll have to work on their land to attain better assets in the future.
Keep in mind that Earth2 is a game, not an investment. And while some players might end up becoming the next “e2 millionaires”, the game will most likely be designed to spend your credits. Just like a casino, you’re in their house and you play by their rules. This isn’t like a cryptocurrency that is decentralized. You should only gamble money you expect to lose - play the game and have some fun in the process.

The way the company controls the economy makes it so they'll never lose money all a while you do every time you make a transaction. They say its 1 to 1 from real money to in-game currency, but when you do anything, they charge a fee, essentially dropping the value of their in-game currency and making them way more money. As soon as you give them your currency, they've now made 100% profit and then some on the fees.

Why should they lose money, regardless of what platform it is I don't see this as an issue after all it is a business. They have a low withdrawal fee which is nothing new and they take 5% of any 'profit' made. If you decide to sell at a loss they get nothing.

I wanna say that anyone who's familiar with game development and the general history of game development would know it goes one to one with technology. Everything that's claimed possible with Earth 2 is a constant technological game development WALL that has existed since forever. Knowing this, it's currently IMPOSSIBLE to create a one to one copy of earth with high fidelity beyond that everyone's seen before without a gigantic AAA game development budget, a giant team of big name developers and beyond state of the art technology capable of over-processing what's available through cloud technology. It's not impossible. But no company has that level of budget or is willing to invest in a game that will end up being a giant glorified walking simulator.

Epic Games has dedicated a billion dollars to this same venture along with 200 million dollars by Sony and even they, who have made one of the greatest engines in all of gaming history, say this isn’t possible. Unity Games with a market cap of $25 billion they could make an acquisition of Earth2 and build it out. Instagram only had a team of 13 employees when Facebook bought them. Could they have built the app to the size it is now with just those 13 people? Just because it's a small team and people don't believe they have the capacity or resources to succeed doesn't necessarily mean it's a scam.

It very well could be a scam but screw it, lets blindly throw money into it because the devs seem like good people. It doesn't look anything like a "game", there is literally no proof of any of their concepts. You also forgot to read the rest of the TOS which states they have no obligation to the legitimacy of any of the data presented in "game" as well as even keeping the website up-to-date. If you suffer a loss as a result they are not liable. Any content creator with a referral code in the description should not be taken seriously as they already have a biased POV.

Extremely complex detailed "life" games would problably not even work to start with, because we dont play games 24/7, so you will need to have a game where most of society dissapear during most of the day time. Someone could test the idea of a "mmorpg gamer" character race society, at the detailed game dwarf fortress. Basically you would create a MOD race with those features. 1-Like humans but with those changes. 2-If at the future there is a change higher than 0% that at this time, during the previous 24 hours, you will have spend less than 21 hours sleeping, the character will automatically sleep. (this basically means you need to sleep a min of 21 hours per each consecutive 24 hours). 3-You can set yourself to sleep, at any moment at any time. And can wake up at any moment you want while sleeping as long you follow rule 1. 4-While sleeping you don't dream but can know the amount of time it passed since you slept. 5-While sleeping you dont feel pain, cold, you can't hear sounds. This race would be equivalent of a player where each day play 3 hours only of a life/rpg mod, like altis life.

If there isn’t any (strong) validation, like btc miners are being paid to verify btc transactions on the wide web, what’s to stop a hacker group from trying to acquisition and hold an entire country’s tiles hostage. There are so many transactions that there’s no way they can verify ownership, transactional information or other. They could attempt to take back land tiles but what kind of message does that send to anyone on the game that owns tiles? I think they should go a gta route and include NFT’s to make money imagine a world wide gta map would be awesome we’re land owners can build and rent out property own shops that dropship wat you buy from the shop this concept has the potential to be the biggest and best but the owners don’t have the vision or skill to do it by the sounds of it
