In South Africa, our easter holiday always starts on the Saturday one week before the Good Friday. Because many people intend to take 4 days annual leaves from the Monday in the Good Friday week together with Family Day (the following Monday after Good Friday is also a public holiday) which makes the Easter Holiday ridiculously loooong (10 days)!! South Africans religiously (nothing to do with religion, lol) travel in the country or abroad. People living inland will go to the beach, people who stays by the sea will probably explore the jungles (e.g. national parks). It's just a very fun and busy time..... for Corona Virus, LOL

It is almost Easter.🐣 What I know about this festival is that it is the day to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. I enjoyed celebrating Easter, as everyone paints normal eggs or chocolate eggs, and then hunt them. As well as an Easter Bunny. 🐰

I guess eating lamb in Easter could be because Jesus was the Passover lamb and according to the biblical account, good Friday was also on the day of Passover, especially the day slaughter the Passover lamb.

Before I went to church, I didn't know much about God. I just read the various versions of the Bible and saw the description of God from the movies. After going to church, I was exposed to many books promoting Christianity, and it was only then that I had a general understanding of the things of God. At that time there was a man named Jesus who claimed to be the Son of God and said he was the King of kings and the ruler of the world. And by the help of assistants, he showed the so-called miracles everywhere to attract believers from all over Israel. Jesus took this group of believers everywhere to deceive people to make money. In the end, people exposed their tricks and took them to the government. The government said that as long as Jesus confessed, his life would be spared. But instead of admitting wrong, Jesus threatened that God would bring disaster to mankind if he was not released immediately. People who could not stand Jesus' arrogance were to put Jesus to death. It was only then that Jesus became frightened, and he asked the crowd for water (people get thirsty when they are nervous). People hated the liar Jesus, so they gave him vinegar to drink, and laughed at him, saying, "Didn't you say that you are the King of kings? Why don't you use your magic now?" Jesus had to bite the bullet and say, "Lord, forgive them. They don't know what they're doing." The people around him couldn't help laughing when they saw that Jesus, who was about to die, was still putting on a show. After Jesus died, the first person to come forward and say that Jesus was not dead was his mistress, a prostitute named Maria. It's likely that Maria made up the resurrection story because she was pregnant with Jesus' child, Maria needed donations from Christians to help her raise Jesus' child. Maria hid the body of Jesus and buried it elsewhere, then found a man who looked like Jesus to come out at night to talk to Christians, claiming that he was not dead himself, he was just fulfilling his father-given mission: for mankind's Atonement. And he will return to Earth in the future for a great trial. This is the famous Judgment Day Armageddon. So, in fact, there would be no Christianity today without the resurrection plan devised by Mary. This prostitute Maria is the true founder of Christianity.
