In this video, we begin our 5 week trip to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and Vietnam.
We fly economy class from Newcastle Airport with Emirates to Dubai then on to Kuala Lumpur.
Before flying we review the Aspire Lounge at Newcastle Airport, showing what food and drink are on offer.
As our flight departure approaches, we board our Emirates flight to Dubai and review the in-flight food, entertainment, leg room and service.
We then arrive at Dubai for a 3 hour transit before our next flight to our first destination, Kuala Lumpur.
We arrive in Kuala Lumpur and show what tourist SIM cards are available before grabbing a GRAB taxi into the city.

It has been amazing and we can't believe it is all nearly over. We have all the videos to edit and put together when we get home though. There shall be quite a lot to come from this. They'll probably be a bit different to the last few series as it will probably document our travel experience more than focusing on restaurants etc. Could say it could be a little bit more of a personal look.

Hey love your vid,start watchin when was searching about Mogan and end up watching all your Gran Canaria trip vid. Just some tips about food over in Kuala Lumpur, don’t go with chinese or thai cuisine except for Chinese Chicken Rice bcos there are super nice. Find some Malay food,there is plenty choices around KL, even in food courts in one of the shopping malls is quite decent. If you’re looking for a better place to visit especially foodwise,just go to Penang. Lovely beaches, a food county of Malaysia hands down. Stay around Feringghi Beach area you’d be delighted! Try the Penang Char Koay Teow, Nasi Kandar and Penang Laksa. Hope ye like it there! Keep up the good work 👌🏽

Because KL has two airports, KLIA1 and KLIA2, make sure you don't end up at the wrong one when you return.

We are home already 😁 We actually left KL to go to Vietnam and left from KLIA2 so we knew there was 2 airports ☺️

In order to avoid jetlag, I always change my watch time to the destination at the boarding pass area of the source country. So I will sleep if it is night at the destination even if it is daylight at the source.

We actually adjusted really well this time round. I find having any kind of sleep kind of adjusts body and I feel like I am in the right timezone. Seems to have worked really well this time round.

Yeah it wasn't too bad. Not something we usually do but my dad paid for us to get the trip off to a great start. Vietnam has been amazing, you have to come. Hope you enjoy our forthcoming videos. Theu should start to drop from next week

The satellite building's aerotrain has broken down. So they had to use buses to get to passport control at the main building.

Yeah, we figured it out once we got on the bus and put the 2 together. They announced on the flight the train was off but we thought it was the train to the city 😅
