I didn't understand this- I never learned about weather and science, don't have a natural aptitude for it, so when you start taking about oscillations, pressure areas, trade winds, etc. as words to use to EXPLAIN something I don't understand- it doesn't help. I need a truly elementary explanation that will take me further so eventually I understand THIS one!

so this sounds a little mean i think. but most pepole who watch this stuff are expected to know the basics. sorry if you feel hurt. anywyas you can search those words up, the fact is they are just useing scientific words for scientific conntent. sooo heres the real reason im replying: you said you need a 'truly elementary' explanation? your ptofile pic does NOT look like you need an ELEMENTARY explanation; you should know this. also you sound like your gossiping about this content

BTW pressure areas are what they sound like areas with high pressure. and trade winds are just a name for the winds that where used for tradeing
