🚨 European Court of Justice today confirmed that “neither UEFA nor FIFA can impose sanctions on clubs that participate in alternative competitions”.
↪️ UEFA statement: “UEFA takes note of the judgment delivered today by the ECJ in the European Super League case”.
“This ruling does not signify an endorsement or validation of the so-called ‘super league’; it rather underscores a pre-existing shortfall within UEFA's pre-authorisation framework, a technical aspect that has already been acknowledged and addressed in June 2022. UEFA is confident in the robustness of its new rules, and specifically that they comply with all relevant European laws and regulations.
UEFA remains resolute in its commitment to uphold the European football pyramid, ensuring that it continues to serve the broader interests of society. I am a Barca fan but Perez is not liking the concentration of power in hands of PL clubs and oil clubs. PL didn't propose this format when the power with the SerieA or LaLiga. I'm pro ESL because I am a Barca fan but PL clubs have genuine arguement that why should they let the power slide from their hands. Totally agree with you nobody is dudh ka dhula in this scenario. But the point of La Liga or Serie A clubs making signings they want will still be a distant memory because PL clubs will eventually have more money. If Real Madrid and Barca are struggling financially, they need to change the way La Liga works and allow foreign investment into the club. The condition for Barca is because of their mismanagement of funds and nobody is responsible for them!! Lastly, I do think eventually they will get more revenue by signing off a deal with UEFA & FIFA, but the format should be strictly based on merit and not anything like this!!❤❤

As most of the big club's in Europe givining official statements against the super league immediately after the court result .....my prediction is in next 1 or 2 years their will be major changes in revenue sharing formula and ffp rules between uefa Fifa and clubs so that club will sustain their business and slight changes in tournament format ......and as number of bigger clubs backing out esl will be scrapped before it start

I don't understand the thing ki chote clubs suffer karenge abhi konsa woh apne talents ko hold kar lete h for ever abhi bhi they sell them only aur bade clubs unse players lenge toh free mein toh lenge nhi paise milenge which they can invest further. Jab unhe pata h bade clubs pe Paisa zyada h toh they can obviously get more money for deals too. As far as underdog stories are concerned konsi underdog team last time semifinals ya finals kheli champions league ka. Log porto bolenge yes they weren't the strongest but Portuguese league ki badi team h woh. Log regularly dekhte nhi toh unhe lagta koi bhi aaltoo faltoo team h. They consistently win ar atleast finish in top 3 in their league. Small clubs are like Nottingham forest and Luton Town jo waise bhi bahut saalon mein kabhi shayad ek baar aaye in champions league. Ab log Girona bolenge toh bhayi woh bhi saalon mein ek team aayi h who might qualify for the champions league next year. And about the extra games jo yeh nations league jaisa tournament hota h woh extra useless games nhi h. But esl ke games extra games h. Absolutely shit of a reason.

in last 5 years inter milan has played a europa league final in 2020, a champions league final in 2023 and have won the serie A in 2020-21 but in the summer window they were in turmoil, barely able to make signings while man united haven't won a league and not even made it to the semis of champions league in last 10-12 years but they have still spent like 400M euros since the arrival of ten hag in 2022 chelsea alone has been spending more on transfers than all the other top leagues combined which shows how much disparity is there between EPL and top 5 leagues since 2018 an english team has always been in a ucl final (except 2020) the distribution of money between clubs is quite weird, if super league helps to overcome this massive gap then i support this
