I believe factoring is comparatively riskier preposition than sales bill discounting for banks and as you mentioned that there is no much cost difference in both than why the bank is resorting to factoring services

Sir in this the facility is sanctioned in name of supplier . Hence if on balance sheet date there is o/s of this facility and show in liability side of borrower what will be corresponding entry on asset side ? Will it be in debtors ?

Few queries 1. Pricing of seller discounting or factoring which us more higher based on risk? 2. CIBIL will reflect factoring in buyer and in case of non payment , derog would be in whise CIBIL? 3. During assessment; whther it shall be part of MPBF? In balance sheet it shall be contingent liability?

1. Factoring would have comparatively higher pricing ideally bcz of higher risk as recourse is limited but I have confirmed from banks that there is not much diff. 2. SMA reporting of buyer is done 3. During MPBF, it is to be counted as working capital finance in projections
