Well, is known that the principal pyrogens are IL-1, TNFa, IL-6. But also IL-2 causes fever but by an indirect mechanism rather than by a direct effect on the hypothalamus as a true Endogenous Pyrogen.

What I don't get is that a fever most of the time is to fight off sickness like a virus or a cold. Then we have things that lower the temperature when our temperature is higher because the virus is weaker in hotter temperatures.

Same here but mine was 40.5 degrees Celsius. As your doctor what kind of medicament you need in order to lower your temperature and find the reason why you have fever. After you take a medicine most likely you will sweat a lot which is a good thing. And you can also soak a towel in cold water and put it on your forehead.

fevers are induced naturaly during excersize. fever is not a symptom it is caused by various ways heat heats up the body l fevers starve the body of water through sweating and cause heatstroke, heat exhaustion and dehydration symptoms. when you heat up your body sweats as bood is boiled at 98 f. and blood is lost through sweating and through evaporation. you can make yourself get heat stroke/exhaustion aka hypothermia symptoms over excersizing. fevers are a sign of high bloodpressure followed by low bp and fainting.

Hey, My temperature is almost 42. And I have a dry cough and im always tired. I'm always cold all the time even when the radiator is on, a few layers of jumpers and fluffy big socks. medical mistakes are the number one cause of death more than natural disasters, vehicle disasters combined. the higher or longer lasting the fever the worse the symptoms the more weight is lost. people thrive in mild climate temps of around 70f. that allow a normal bodytemp range. its healthy to level your bodyweight unless you are obese/overweight or gain weight to gain muscle. i suggest you gauge your bodytemp during extensive cardio excersize your in for a suprise. your heart rate increases during excersize as well as your bodytemp.
