Exactly! Sir, our whole existence is a "test" in the most pious and humble manner in the light of the Holy Qur'an and teachings/sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ to benefit us in this life and in the lifeafter.

@@srnp0007 Although Allah is absolutely All-Powerful and All-knowing God who knows the future and outcome of the test, he does the test for the purpose of Justice. Why do schools give exam although they already knew those who fail? Suppose if authority could see the future and know someone would commit a crime, it would still be somewhat unjust to punish and put that potential criminal in prison before he commits crime.
@Astaqfirullah93 жыл бұрын
@@srnp0007 What about the other example I gave you? You avoided commenting it because you've NO answer. By the way, before the test, teacher knows bad students will fail, but it's unjust preventing them to participate the exam.

Masha'Allah Brother Paul, Excellent and thank you so much for mentioning some proper meanings of fitna. Wish it was mentioned and explained more in the conversation. If you are the richest person on the earth, this could be a fitna/ balaa' (test) and if you were starving to death, this would also be a fitna/balaa' (test) and since this encompasses every soul then we should imagine this world to be the furnace of fitna, the pure will come out of it worthy of being in the presence of the CREATOR and the impure will end up in a real, physical furnace of HELL and with our own free will we have been given the opportunity to follow the guidance which was given to us by the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Most Wise, Most Just , that will benefit us not just in this world of "fitna" but most importantly to live through it and come out pure to be in the presence of the CREATOR. But guess what, it doesn't just stop there, the CREATOR has prepared a paradise which no eye has seen, no ear has heard and has not been imagined by any heart as a BONUS for the pure souls. HE ALLAH IS THE MOST GRACIOUS AND MOST MERCIFUL AND HE ALLAH IS THE MOST SEVERE WITH PUNISHMENT, but just remember... HE ALLAH IS THE MOST WISE AND THE MOST JUST. Praise and glory be to the CREATOR- ALLAH.

in order to keep my thoughts virgin of any ideas from your guest. FITNA, to me when i think of it in english, i think of troubles, stress, harassment, and many other activities that are applied by a certain group on another. there are, of course, other explanations and situations where this key word may have alternative meanings but this is what comes first to my mind when i hear this word. the best argument supporting the meaning i propsed is the aya saying that "fitna is stonger than killing" . wa allahou aalam. thank you for keeping our minds and fate alive. Bless you

Beautiful brother Paul 👏👏👏 how beautiful ALLAH Almighty has made his words!! Mighty and powerful indeed. Allah had made it clear to the believers that He will test the believers by various means but if they remain patient upon their test or trials Allah will grant them a great reward!! Alhamdulillah for Islam, because the Qur'an truly provides the answers to life and it's why's? Alhamdulillah beautifully read, Allah is the most Just, Allah will never wrong any of His slaves because Allah has prohibited oppression against Himself!! Jazak Allahu khayran brother Paul and may Allah increase your understanding better than those who deny Allah or attribute injustice or lack of love or lack of mercy to Him!! Glory be to Allah Dr Bart Erhman failed to comprehend the mushroom of the Qur'an, may Allah guide him.

The prophet answered : the prophets ,then those who are alike and those who are alike and the servant of God would be more tested and tested with trails and tribulations until he is walking on earth without carrying any sin .

To understand that life is a test is very central in Quran. Whom who understands this lives peacefully and correctly work on passing the test It is so important that God in the beginning of Surat al-ankaboot asks this question "did people thought that they will be left to say we believe without being tested??!"

What I find missed from last night debate about suffering and children starving is the pure natural explanation for this cause, namely cash crops like sugar, tea, coffee Opium and drugs, and even diesel oil in farm lands of southern hemisphere and these are then shipped to Western markets for low price. This is not God's fault but purely man made disasters.

The first fitna was at the prophets death when a known someone said to the prophet "don't let him write his will he is hallucinating" after the prophet said "bring me a paper to write for you something that will guide you and won't ever make you go astray" and from that moment muslims became divided

Another point to make is the object term (maftoon) meaning the one whom (fitna) has fallen upon. Interestingly (maftoon) describes the person during a trail or after failing the trial. So to remind us that none who is inflected in fitna is safe until they pass. He is a maftoon until proven otherwise (najy) survivor or pure. Also, the general prophetic attitude is to never wish fitna and try to avoid it at all costs. Because to wish it is arrogant and ignorant and none is sure to pass a trial. If you're on a diet then best not to test yourself and go in a sweets shop at all. There's a book summarized as "willpower is for the stupid". Strengthen your willpower just in case but try not getting into situations were your willpower is to be tested.

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When Allah created Paradise, He said to Gabriel: Go and look at it. He went and looked at it, then came and said: O my Lord! By Thy might, no one who hears of it will fail to enter it. He then surrounded it with disagreeable things, and said: Go and look at it, Gabriel. He went and looked at it, then came and said: O my Lord! By Thy might, I am afraid that no one will enter it. When Allah created Hell, He said: Go and look at it, Gabriel. He went and looked at it, then came and said: O my Lord! By Thy might, no one who hears of it will enter it. He then surrounded it with desirable things and said: Go and look at it, Gabriel. He went, looked at it, then came and said: O my Lord! By Thy might and power, I am afraid that no one will remain who does not enter it. (Sunan Abi Dawud 4744)

2:25 One important note here, Allah doesn't need to test us to know who is the best of us God already knows the writer is mistaken here, Allah test us to proof to us that we deserve to enter heaven or not, how many times you or anyone else thought something is an easy task and can do it but when you try to do it you failed? Or the other way around? The test is for us to accept our destiny in the day of judgment. this my understanding in this matter because I really was in very skeptical phase because of this to the point I became agnostic until one day I came across this verse in the Quran "Allah alone has the conclusive proof. Had He willed, He would have guided you all" 6:149

The non-believers are also tested, especially if they are rich. That is a way to satisfy and comfort the masses of the poor believers, those who had nothing and should be converted or should stay in islam (at the time of the “prophet” as well as today) in accepting the godly tests. Allah is clearly indifferent to the suffering of people and sadistic.
@europg813 жыл бұрын
The issue of suffering and trials is not a easy issue. Has to do with the Qadr of Allah. It was narrated that Ibn Dailami said: "I was confused about this Divine Decree (Qadar), and I was afraid lest that adversely affect my religion and my affairs. So I went to Ubayy bin Ka'b and said: 'O Abu Mundhir! I am confused about the Divine Decree, and I fear for my religion and my affairs, so tell me something about that through which Allah may benefit me.' He said: 'If Allah were to punish the inhabitants of His heavens and of his earth, He would do so and He would not be unjust towards them. And if He were to have mercy on them, His mercy would be better for them than their own deeds. Sunan Ibn majah 77 And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allah] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses Qur'an 7:156 So Allah is the owner of everything and if He were to punish humans would not be unjust. And showing mercy and giving them respite is better for them. Also cannot blame Allah for our shortcomings, with all the wealth and food in the world no one should be left without food an help. But it is the stinginess and the unwillingness to help which led to people starving, and the evil of people in power people dying in wars etc. No one should blame God for people's evil
