Dear manufacturers, I draw your attention to the deterioration in the quality of footwear. I have been using ekko shoes since 1998, they are always high quality and comfortable shoes. It is so strong that it kept its shape and appearance for 5 years or more. Now everything is starting to change, starting with the size, the choice of which through the online store is similar to a lottery, so I have size 42, but when ordering shoes on the 43rd, I understand that it is small and I need to take 44, and another time 42 on the leg. The white sole that you make is incredibly easily soiled and almost impossible to clean. Foamed polyorthane is incredibly fragile, the sole becomes unusable in 2 seasons. Such a sole cannot be repaired. The quality of the upper also leaves much to be desired, like the recent ECCO CHUNKY SNEAKER M sneakers a week later my toe came off, the side lining was torn and the sole was worn out, the top was all scratched. While I wear shoes very carefully and wore them only a few times. I understand that the cost of such shoes for you is a small amount, but the country where I bought them is half the average monthly salary in the country. I ask you to accept this and not sacrifice quality for the sake of sales.

I repair shoes for a living and I tell customers weekly if their Eccos are under 2 years old and there's an issue with the soles: go get them replaced on grounds of the product warranty. If it's past that, throw them and avoid all PU based designs. That stuff disintegrates into microplastics. Greenwashing the leathermaking process does little of the whole product is going to smolder asunder within 2-8 years when the leather can be kept for 10-20 years with proper care.

Best shoes in the world. I tried many shoes none of them are not even close to Ecco.

Is there somewhere where we can find information on wear, grip of the shoeskin to the sole and how it affects sustainability in ability to be repaired?
