What is FNAF World ACTUALLY About? | FNAF Theory

One of my more out there theories, but FNAF World is out there. So sue me. Five Nights at Freddy's in general is kind of out there, so this makes sense. But I honestly think Michael in FNAF 3 is the most reasonable explanation for what is going on in this game.

Come to think about it? I think what’s inside the locked box is basically this. That Fnaf world is an interpretation of the fnaf mini games being built to guide the spirits to their happiest day, like you’ve mentioned. So maybe fnaf world is one dimension, but it’s linked to the real life, and I don’t wanna be farfetched but it could also explain why some of those video games are possessed in SB. While I don’t see a lore connection between SB and fnaf world, we can speculate that whoever is trying to “fix” the game, it’s intended purpose is to guide the dead so they can rest. Hence, the fnaf mini games being played occasionally. Or something.

I think it actually isn't just about evan's post death, i think it was actually for someone else. Let me explain. I think that the breadcrumbs aren't for evan, they are for Michael afton and predict his journey and I think i do have evidence. The first Clock you get is of balloon boy, which many i think associate with the fnaf 3 BB's Air adventure minigame but I think that this is a different meaning. I think that the boy with the balloon actually represents the Birthday that Michael ruined, You see on the way to the party in fnaf 4 theres a kid similar to balloon boy standing there This may be a stretch but it may also not be. The second clock takes you to the four unlit buttons which when you step on them you light them up, Many associate this with the minigame you recieve when you do that exact thing in fnaf 3. but i don't think so, I think that this represents michael's encounters with the animatronics in fnaf 1, on his way to figure out whats happening with these robots and to maybe stop what his father had did. The reason i think this instead of the arcade is that the four squares were once off but after fredbear passes over them they suddenly become vibrant like the animatronics during the awakening. at first the cupcakes were abit difficult to pinpoint where this could be from but then I had the idea, what if the cupcakes represent after michael gets scooped and ennard entering michael's body. There are four cupcakes in that clock game and four animatronics that had combined to form ennard(Note how they all fit into 1 box which could imply conjoining) and then escape through michael. The number one i do believe is one that links to fnaf 3 but I think this one represents the Address michael had to go to in order to find the fazbear frights location, possibly from job applications. And the final one...the rabbit may be springtrap but considering we actually have to push him into a box I think its representing Fnaf 6's ending. Pushing the animatronics into 1 place(a place shaped like a box) so that they can be put to rest, if it was a reference to springtrap then the clock game should have been releasing it but in this case you put him in a box. This concedes at the end of michael's story at least until fnaf security breach which they probably wouldn't know of the connections to fnaf world because up until fnaf help wanted it was scott who primarily hid easter eggs from fnaf world alluding to the games. so I think that Fnaf world is our Marvel's Endcredit scene for the series, giving us hints towards the future which requires us to look back.

My impressions of it is that it is an afterlife, of sorts. One where the dead children killed by Afton go through the motions of what happened to them and try to sort it out, in the style of an rpg. Now obviously there are big contrivances here, one major being the cast that you can unlock. While the opposite can be bluntly said about custom night, that being Afton's hell.

One my own cats (Henry) also is extremely weirded out when i talk in a discord call for example. Then he just starts meowing at the top of his lungs, because that's what he does when he feels confused, scared, intrigued, in search of attention, happy, or pretty much any emotion really. I do feel like the desk scene can be read in a more symbolic way. Henry feels responsible for afton so he "created" baby by allowing things to go so far. He less directly created her but allowed her creation. The death I'm not sure on but I don't feel like it'd be a new character because I think we'd have seen them by now.

I think it’s about Evan’s postdeath experience, and him trying to give hints to Michael to “guide them to their happiest day” via the minigames. If correct, the clock ending is canon. Edit: Also, the “everything that happens out there happens in here” also makes sense with this. Michael’s adventures so far lead to strange creatures appearing in Animatronica. Also, the Drowned ending could be Michael and his siblings, after everything’s “over.”

Cassidy being the one that's helping the happiest day makes sense. Also, of all the characters that has a glitched personality, it's fredbear/Golden Freddy. It also explains why we play as an 8 bit freddy when doing the clock minigames. OMC, in my opinion, was just a physical example of the co sequel CES of all the actions that the Fnaf characters did. It'd be cool that Fnaf Wofld made a comeback by adding Glitchtrap as the new antagonist, and its revealed that were playing an arcade version of Fnaf world in an arcade. *I know someone made a Fan made Fnaf world that showed the Funtimes and Glitchtrap, but I mean in Scott's perspective*

FNAF World broke the 4th wall a lot. The guy at the desk is Scott, and Baby represents Sister Location. Compared to the previous games, Sister Location was a massive undertaking. Desk guy's untimely death was probably a metaphor for how the Sister Location project overwhelmed Scott. That's just my interpretation, anyway.

Great job on putting all these little things together! For me personally it looks like FNAF World is showing how someone (most likely Crying Child or Charlie or both) is working together with Michael who is doing night shifts during FNAF3 to create Happiest Day and free the souls of killed children. The most logical conclusion is: Charlotte is leading Crying Child in assisting his brother Mike in order to make good ending of FNAF 3 happen. They do all if that to put Golden Freddy's spirit to rest and stop the hauntings - sadly they failed in the end...

The drowning ending scene is labelled "Happiest Day" in the files. Though it can't be the literal Happiest Day because it doesn't work like that, implying it's someone else's. I personally think it's BV's Happiest Day, with the tall figure being the FoxyBro and the two smaller figures being BV and Elizabeth. Also, TFTPP book 2 story Help Wanted implies fnaf world was never actually a game in-universe. Also, apparently the desk man is actually representative of Scott himself, in one of the endings in the game has you fighting Scott himself while he is complaining about the "toxic fanbase", so it isn't impossible for this to just represent Scott. I don't think this is actually him venting his frustrations, I think it's just a joke similar to the Scott boss battle. I don't think he was literally talking about how the fan base was toxic in the game, I think it was instead just a meta joke. I think the same is happening here. For the clock ending, I don't think what the player is doing is Happiest Day. At the very end, the yellow-eyed entity says "the pieces are in place for you, all you have to do is find them". I think that what we are doing in fnaf world isn't setting up the actual minigames, rather it's setting up the hints that appear. I think that "the pieces" are the fnaf 3 Happiest Day minigame, and I do think this showing more how Happiest Day works, but not who's receiving it. Instead, I think it's showing who sets it up in fnaf 3. Notice how the plush entity tells BV that the pieces are in place for him, and in the files of fnaf world, there's a texture of the box opened saying something along the lines of "the pieces were found". Instead, what I think this is saying is that throughout all the fnaf 3 minigames leading up to Happiest Day (except for the Happiest Day minigame itself) we're playing as BV, giving the children's souls cake and allowing the actual Happiest Day minigame to manifest, where the Puppet gives Golden Freddy cake and they all are freed. And we know that in the outro the entity is talking to BV because when the yellow-eyed entity says "the pieces are in place for you", earlier that same cutscene they say "we are still your friends, do you still believe that?" which is exactly what the Fredbear Plush says to BV. So why did I mention the box? Well I think this explains what is actually in the box. I think it's Happiest Day. This is also what I think "I will put you back together" means. I think it's referring to his memories, which seem to be fuzzy as shown in the logbook most likely because he was bitten. So in conclusion: what I think the clock ending is, is the Fredbear Plush entity creating Adventure Freddy in order to use BV's memories to set up the hints for Happiest Day. Later on in fnaf 3, BV finds the hints and uses them to give each spirit cake which allows the Happiest Day minigame to sort of manifest, where the Puppet gives Golden Freddy cake and the spirits "rest". Or at least that's what it was supposed to be. Also, thank you for covering fnaf world, I feel like it isn't covered too much on KZbin and the only people I've really seen talk about it are a select few KZbinrs like ImpulseEvan37, Shadow Libra and Arcadeno. I feel like it's under talked about.

The bad thing about FNAF World is that a year after it's release, the game's updates got cancelled. A year after FNAF World's release, an Android port was released in Google Play Store but the next day, Scott took it down, probably because he did not like the limitations in the game or fans could feel his tone in the game, it's only downloadable APK style. There was also a planned IOS port and a 3rd update, but Scott cancelled it due to fans hating the game. There was meant to be something further in FNAF World as evidenced by the Magic Rainbow ending, where Desk Man dies. Text says "to be continued..." As if Scott is giving us a cliffhanger and plans a new update to make the game bigger but it never saw the light of day.

The only difference for me, is I think you're overlooking Henry Emily. FNAF World was the first game to even imply there's more than one adult/family involved in the Fredbear saga, but nobody ever finishes that thought to connect Henry back into it. We know he was doing his own stuff to try and save the kids. We know he knows Charlie is in the puppet. We get that whole giant speech in pizza simulator. But we also know he *didn't* know Afton killed Charlie initially. And nobody's gonna expect scientifically proveable haunted robots. So, when did he find out? How did he find out? How much about Michael does he know? How much communication with Charlie does he have and what would communication with a haunted robot even look like? Division of labour: if Afton and Emily both made the animatronics, who specialized in what? I'd argue there's good reason to peg Emily as the software guy to Afton's hardware. In the 80's, there still wasn't really a difference between hardware guys and software guys, they would've started as partners but by the time they're making the funtimes at least there's enough specialization necessary their work would be almost entirely divorced from each other. So Henry is the AI guy, the coder to Afton's robotics engineer. Someone who would have access to old Fazbear IP, and the skills to hack easter eggs into the game for communication purposes. He probably was the main designer of the thing to begin with. Making the game itself may have even been a cover for the rescue missions instead of the other way around, why would Afton pay attention to Emily's little arcade side project? It's the perfect way to look busy on company work that William would also have *zero* interest in looking into. Iunno. It depends on if you think the happiest day is canon or the tragic tale of what could've been but wasn't. We talk a lot about the consequences of ghosts being in robots, but very little about the consequences of robots being the host for a ghost, if that makes sense. What happens to the ghosts if you mess with the robot's AI? It even plays straight into all the cyberhorror scifi stuff the story's been up to lately. Anyway, so I think there's a reason deskguy strikes so many people as a Scott insert. He is the game designer's self-insert, he's just not Scott. (I don't think we should necessarily take deskguy dying literally. Scott is very literal but that doesn't mean Henry is. I think we get access to Henry's breakdown as he pieces together what actually happened, what blame he has for it, and what he's going to do now to fix it. I don't think he actually dies but I think he knows it's a distinct possibility if he gets caught and he's correct to be afraid and he's got some hardcore survivor's guilt making him think maybe that's what he deserves. I mean by fazbear fright, he's literally the only survivor, everyone else involved has died at least once, brobro having a bit of a ragequit-life impulse is valid.) I'm just saying, every other time we get a game this meta in this franchise, Henry's there. Makes sense it applies as much to the first time. This comment is chaotic, sorry. KZbin is a pain to edit properly.

The way I see FNAF World is that it is what Evan (The canonical name for Michael's younger brother) perceives purgatory as, hell, he even properly shows up as a party member and that the clock ending is the true (Lore related) ending, which leads to Evan awakening inside of Golden Freddy, potentially already after Cassidy was stuffed inside, in which his soul is laid to rest in the true ending of FNAF 3 after the happiest day minigame Now, for the halloween update ending, I see it as Evan's introduction to what his sister, Elizabeth, has become long after his death, someone who went insane trying to go out into the outside world

8:28 I personally think that it could be William and his children (well not necessarily do I think it's William specifically but I am leaning towards William atm) bcuz it wouldn't make sense for it to be an angel bcuz the background makes 0 sense and it would make a bit more sense if the flashing colors were covering the entire screen but no it's just that small rectangle that's flashing so this seems more reasonable that this is actually showing us William watching TV with 2 of his kids (most possibly Elizabeth and Chris since it's hinted at that desk guy ending that this all took place before Sister Location)

I think that the ultimate custom night is somewhat a sequal to the fnaf world. The render style is similar. The main character is golden freddy. We also see that there is a promenent way to get a glitched Fredbear in the game. There is DeeDee. There is Old Man Consequences and his similar ending here. Also it has a large grid roster of characters up to that point. I think ultimate costume night is the same plane of existence molded and restructured by Cassidy to torture William. This also seems to be supported by the "2 souls occupy golden freddy" theory. It suggest that the fnaf 4 dialogue from the plush is Cassidy and that we see them talk to us in fnaf world then attack us in ucn.

before i actually watch i want to write down my own notes from theories and things i remember hearing quite a while ago. so id like to state that fnaf world is most likely canon due to its connection to UCN (old man consequences telling golden Freddy/Cassidy that he has done enough and to rest his soul). i believe the fnaf world itself is a mesh of metaphorical and paranormal concepts like this world was formed by the spirits as a coping mechanism but somehow had managed to become a form of worlds between like a filter that catches souls of the victims and drops what left of souls in the form of conscience that then becomes what the animatronic are possessed by. that why we dont see much darkness in fnaf world because all that hate and anger had fell through into the animatronics. the flipside is the under belly of their world where at the bottom is old man consequences who i believe is another spirit who hate had made it so that his conscience couldn't fall through but unlike Cassidy had managed to find peace and contentment in watch over the younger spirits as they had made their way through. my though is that the 2 sides of fredbear (who is golden Freddy) the one who wants to save that world ("fredbear") and the one who doesn't care what happens to that world ("glitched fredbear") just that he wants these clocks to be collected (which i will elaborate in a bit). they most likely represent the two souls with in golden Freddy: Cassidy and crying child. the one we see the most of "fredbear" is probably crying child because of his short yet traumatic (both emotional and physical) death probably resulted in his memories of the event being foggy and his personality not being transferred well. we then have the much more ominous personality "glitched fredbear" who is Cassidy who's death may of been a very long and painful one where she was slowly dying thinking about how much she hated her killer. i believe that Cassidy's hate was so great and his frustration in not being able to catch their killer even when they springlocked him he still game back to possess the suit that he tore his way through the flipside in an attempt to change her and all of the other victims fates. this forceful action resulted in the entrances to the flipside that can be found through out the game. during the game their is a subplot of finding clocks and doing short minigames but these mini games correlative with the fnaf 3 minigames. Cassidy's goal was to use the current circumstances to get the party (the team you use) to collect clocks that he had made through pure determination. when these clocks are collected they would cause leaks from the fnaf world to the human world that the Micheal Afton (who i believe was drawn here through Cassidy her self) could then use to tweak the past allowing the souls to find peace and move on but Cassidy just could move on he wasn't satisfied with this ending. the others moved on thinking that Micheal would finally destroy Afton for good but even then he managed to escape and so Cassidy would continue to exist a soul who had lost all hope in ever moving on. the only thing he had left was his anger and vengeance to keep him going. and so he sat their with old man consequences for year letting his anger fester and grow even stronger slowly altering fnaf world into Afton's personal hell custom made by Cassidy. several years later Cassidy had managed to coincidentally catching the ending of pizzeria simulator. at this moment Cassidy, who knew that this was his final chance to get his own revenge on him, grabbed him and ripped him out of the hell that he was meant to go to putting him in the purgatory that UCN is. during this time old man consequences would tell Cassidy that he should let go and let hell finish the job. Cassidy eventually may or may not move on but it isn't stated. their are a lot of loose ends and plot holes in my story but i feel this gives satisfying enough of context and ending to what we had to work with. thank you if you read this far and RyeToast would love to see your opinion on my take.

Hooray, we finally get to talk about the only FNAF game I've ever beaten! (The other ones make me too nervous to play through, but I still love them.) I always thought the desk man and the man with two kids was Henry, finally getting his own happiest day and reuniting with his family. I see Henry as a light self-insert of Scott's, in the way that Stephen King writes himself into Bill Denbrough. It's not too serious if it's true or not, but if it is, I'm sure it's just for fun.

Fantastic work!! Always love hearing about FNAF World, makes me nostalgic to the beginning of the series! On that end… perhaps (and I know it’s sort of a dark take) the person at the desk IS Scott…. Apologizing for what will happen to the story beyond that point. This was pre-books, pre-Charlotte as the puppet…. His “whole story” was complete after FNAF 4. Perhaps this was a hint that the future was going to be bittersweet? I’m always one to mourn the original 4 (and FNAF World) because the vibes simply hit different during this stage in the story. (And if the Crying Child Puppet theory was the original plan, I’ll mourn that loss until the end of time)

Alternate but similar theory: FNAF World takes place within the code of the indie games established in Help Wanted where the spirits exist as digital ghosts. They are there possibly because the games depicted their suffering and death and therefore recreated their agony. In FNAF World, the spirits put the pieces in place to allow the player of Indie Game FNAF 3 to trigger the Happiest Day and thereby release the spirits from the games. Cassidy stays behind and traps William’s spirit in the FNAF World space as UCN (UCN includes several FNAF World characters so must exist within the same space) . Glitchtrap is the digital manifestation of William from UCN who hatched a plan to return to his real body in Security Breach. Cassidy (still in digital form) infiltrates the arcade machines at the PizzaPlex and embarks on a QUEST to free Vanessa and stop William. With this, Desk Man is the indie developer. He literally says “You deactivated my games”. Old Man Consequences behaves as a sentient being in FNAF World, UCN, and Princess Quest, so I believe he is an actual spirit. In fact, I think he’s Henry. After sacrificing himself to wipe out the horrors of his business partner and company in FNAF 6, I think he ends up in FNAF World and chooses to live in solitude by his red lake. It would make sense given all that he has lost. His “old wise man” persona also matches well with Henry’s personality in FNAF 6. Once he learns that William is loose again, he actively helps Cassidy work to stop him as the red king in Princess Quest.

I believe it isn't WHAT you do with the objects in the game itself in the clock ending, but the objects themselves. someone mightve made the connection before but Chica's minigame hinted toward the tiny toy chica's beak in fnaf4 the balloon boy in the minigame hinted toward the boy holding the balloons in the fnaf4 minigame, the shadow bonnie hints toward the shadows of fredbear and springbonnie.

Interesting Fact: The Music That Plays During "I Will Put You Back Together" is the same ambience we hear in FNAF2's gameplay. Makes me personally think that the speaker is Charlie/The Puppet, the bear we play as is GF/Cassidy, and the person Charlie addressses in the beginning is The Crying Child. And the prologue takes place in 1987.

Why do we need a theory about this the game outright tells us what's going on, the crying child needs to find the pieces left and put them together to free his friends (and said pieces are also heavily implied to come from his memories, implying the MCI kids were set free similarly to how Andrew was set free in the books) And in the game, there is not a breadcrumb left for the happiest day minigams itself, meaning whoever the yellow eyes is didn't want to free the last child, which is out of character for Charlotte And the yellow eyes literally tells the player that they are still his friends, it's not Michael. (And adventure freddy is the one who sets the clocks for "him" to find, not the person the yellow eyes us talking to, glitched fredbear states adventure freddy was only created for one reason, and that was to set the clocks.

FNaF Worlds kinda addictive. My cousin keeps playing it all the time. But, I like to see lore stuff. The lore is very confusing at some times. As We don't know the crying childs name. Or if any animatronic in Security Breach is possessed. Who knows? They're all just questions added deeper into lore, waiting to be answered.

I want to add something that can help this theory as well that one of the things to activate the minigames in FNAF 3: Mike has to click buttons on an **arcade** machine. This can be seen as him booting up the arcade machine to play that specific game.

The thing that Desk Guy really brings to mind for me is actually Baby in the books, of all things, which is SO weird to me. In the novel trilogy, she was made by Henry, but was brought to life by his fury at William and so was twisted and felt wrong to him. And if I'm remembering correctly, his creation of her _was_ a primary motivating factor for him eventually taking his own life. But... why the _heck_ would FNaF World be in the novel universe? But then, we do have the spines on Baby in the games, which played an important part in her ability to seem like she was changing shape in the novels, and there's the open question about whether the "power module" was an illusion disk, so maybe there's more overlap there than we'd expect...? But that's an ENORMOUS can of worms to open.

I like your video, but I want to add on with something i never see people mention. the fnaf 3 minigames are references to things the crying child saw the days before he died. he saw a fat kid who looked like balloon boy, he saw a broken mangle doll, he saw that kid with the tiny toy chica, he saw a stage with fredbear and spring bonnie, and he saw the shadows of them being cast. not to mention all of fredbear’s diner looks like the happiest day minigame.
