About economy 2.0, I got payout for march, and it was WELL more than I was expecting. My map have about 100k total plays and averages a couple hundred daily. So the payout I got was wild

I find it really wild how much people will disregard creator maps and uefn just because it’s attached to Fortnite. The stuff people are making is already amazing and I only see it getting better with time (provided epic doesn’t self mutilate with overly restrictive policies).

Wait why would anyone use the unreal engine for fortnite when making your game using only the unreal engine and NOT fortnite doesn’t limit you to fortnite?

What a seriously silly question. If someone has no experience with Unreal Engine then using uefn is a good way to get their foot in the door because they have all of fortnite's pre-existing prefabs devices weapons and so on to help them make something for the first time. For those who already know unreal engine then using uefn would be easy and they would be publishing their experience onto a platform with a huge pre-existing player base. And either way there are people who just genuinely enjoy fortnite so that's why they would want to use what's available to make an experience for a game they enjoy.
