Introduction:
Gas Absorption is one of the very first Mass Transfer Unit Operations studied in early process engineering. It is very important in several Separation Processes, as it is used extensively in the Chemical industry.
Understanding the concept behind Gas-Gas and Gas-Liquid mass transfer interaction will allow you to understand and model Absorbers, Strippers, Scrubbers, Washers, Bubblers, etc…

generally speaking, yes... More liquid to absorb, will make CO2 from air go to water

Is there any specific ratio by which gas and liquid be transferred into absorber? Also, if the inlet stream pressure and the absorber operating pressure are different, does it create some problem?

depends on the equilibrium line! some gases will readily be soluble, and some will not, also depends on T, P

Does gas absorbtion in a flash increase it's overall mass?

gas absorption is carried out in multiple stages (columns) whereas flash is carried in a single stage. These are two different mass transfer processes. Gas Abs = solubility phenomena. Flash = volatility phenomena
