Something I want to point out is that the Kelpie Senshi adored might be named after the horse they killed for food. Both are named Anne.

Basically, it was explained in one of the bonus lore comics that all the races have different levels of mana tolerance. Elves are the highest, dwarves are the lowest (if you notice, Namari and Senshi both tend to get a bit queasy after getting transported via spells), with Half-foots being second lowest IIRC. Gnomes and Tall-men were number 2 and 3 highest respectively.

Nah about the teleportation its explained that dwarves has very sensitive ear canals that makes them very good with directions. Sudden orientation change due to teleportation greatly affects them that triggers extreme motion sickness

Also, in ep 21 when Kabru and Shuro's parties exit via Maizuru's spell, you can see Daya {the blonde dwarf from Kabru's party} seemingly in distress after exiting the portal.

Many people don't know this, but Senshi's gang is an outcast from his hometown, Izganda. If you leave your city without anyone noticing, it means you cannot return home because of the caste system. That's why after Senshi left the dungeon, he didn't intend to go back to Izganda.

Season 2 will probably be the final season, the manga isn’t too long. Hopefully trigger doesn’t just stop halfway haha

Laios as a dwarf is adorable. His expressions softened and his usual happy go lucky attitude and short blond hair have him a very boyish charm.

Everybody is always doubting Laios in this episode, but information is his love language. There’s no way that he didn’t listen to or respect everything that Senshi said. He absorbed all of that and then offered Senshi exactly what Laios would want to be given in that situation: a solution.

funnily enough, in senshi’s diary(from the adventurer’s bible book) he said he didnt feel like he changed personality-wise, so it implies that he’s actually pretty feminine for a dwarf. its just not obvious because he is, well, a dwarf. who are all manly but default

@@siewmj1i would say that Senshi is more delicate. In elf it translate by a extra feminine side but in dwarf Senshi said in one episode that other dwarves were bullying him for not being interested in ores and Namari was angry at him for not taking care of his ax

god its not even just that senshi thought he ate another human. senshi thought he ate another human and LIKED it. he's been eating monsters for decades now, and every single time, he's thought to himself that it doesn't taste as good as the flesh of someone who died so that he could live.

you were right on the first point about marcille. elves have a much higher rate of mana than half-foots. as for senshi there's some extra stuff that isn't going to be explained in the anime. elves are just very charismatic in general so even though he's not acting any different than usual the body gives people the impression that he's showing off when he actually isn't.

That changeling backstory was so dark. It would be so easy for villagers to kill so many unwanted children by telling it's trol in disguise. I will miss Dungeon Meshi...praying for a season 2 announcement TRIGGER please!!! 🙏

It's clarified in the manga that the way changeling mushrooms spread their spores is by getting their victims exiled from their communities so they die far away from home.

there was a content in the manga that was cut...it says that all that happened when trying to cure changeling affected children was just heinous torture. From force-drinking them a bucket of water to burning them with a fire heated iron rod...

I honestly appreciate how frustrating Liaos can be, especially as someone whose in the process of be evaluated for autism. His way of caring may not always be the most appropriate or come across in the most empathetic way, but you know he just wants to help. To be honest, I would’ve suggested trying the soup. Obv by choice, I’d never force it, but sometimes I’m terrible at reading the room.
