One thing I noticed about Viltrumites is that the more they condition their bones and muscle the more dense their tissue becomes so in a way Mark could literally be *enters title card* I actually like this concept because they actually have to work hard to achieve more power it's not like most Shonen anime or other superhero related media. Like Omni man tells Mark while their flying in the desert you still need to exercise. That concept is great.

We've seen Batman's limits with stuff like The Dark Knight Returns and DC Metal, but Superman's limits are things like DC 1,000,000 and the Thought Machine Superman, which literally fought an villain OUTSIDE OF REALITY. That's who Superman really is.

If anything, DC has done more wild shit than Marvel, especially in the last decade (with Disney dictating much of the direction of even Marvel's comics and stifling creativity until recently). I love Marvel and I love DC, but each have their own style and you liking one more than another doesn't make one bad. And if you want to get into why they lost, it's because they weren't prepared. Omni-Man was smart enough to have them scouted, set them up, and completely blindside them. If they HAD had time to prepare they very possibly COULD have at least restrained Omni-Man. That's why he blindsided them. That was the point - it wasn't "plot induced stupidity," it was planning and preparation from Omni-Man.

I started reading this comic book when I was maybe 14, 29 now. It immediately became my favorite comic book but then our comic shop went under. 5 years later I started back up on it and got every issue since. It ended in 2017 and to this day I still haven't finished reading it because I refuse to let it end. The first 12 issues, which I'm assuming is what the first seasons will be based around, is the greatest story I've ever read of any medium. I cried after watching this episode because it was everything I've ever wanted and it shouldn't even exist and it does. I can't WAIT to watch you guys react to this show. It's fucking incredible.
