@@robyoung-pl1gq Not if they're from the private sector student. Despite cuts, employees are being paid and taxed which is the only place government gets its money from in the first place. @@robyoung-pl1gq Wrong, taxing rich you are not really taking from the rich, you are taking from the economy. Everybody who earns more than he is spending is investing the rest. The capitals that rich have are working in the economy, creating jobs, goods, and services in a competitive environment. When government is taking that money it's using it the worst possible way, unproductively and monopolistically. So the more they tax the rich the more they reduce economic output and increase unproductive money supply. That money supply drives inflation higher. That inflation can go into goods, or services, or asset prices, creating a bubble. We've seen all of that in the last 3 years.

The government is a non profit monopoly, that pays for itself by confiscation from the private sector. @@jamesakers1175 yes and no…the wage market is very competitive right now….hiring is more difficult when many options are available for potential employees. Sometimes….we do turn people down for lack of skills for the higher wage positions that is true…..but even the entry level positions are difficult to fill…as the entry level wages of 20 an hour is problematic as everyone pays 20 dollars an hour today. Of course….our wages scale up to over 40 an hour plus overtime if we can get people Invest their time they will come out ahead ( 80-100k yearly income for skilled workers plus 8.5 percent contribution by the company to one’s 401k). As for free stuff might be true in a minority of situations but free stuff adds up to little is the misconception people have that everyone lives this grand life style off the government and choose not to work which is simply not true. Living in a tent in the cold on the street and getting free food to survive with basic clothing provided is not considered better than working for the vast majority of people. More likely that parents self enable their grown children by providing free stuff….housing, food, etc….than is done by the government and some blame (if one wants to place it) probably lies there.

Or so says the Hypothesis. You should prepare for the experiment. It must be YOUR active choice to find God. If you don't want to find God, you won't. The evidence suggests that many never truly desire to find God, until they have been traumatized or hit rock-bottom. Fortunately, that is not a requirement, but it partially explains why so many already-broken people are believers. Obviously, there is no punishment for non-belief. And I tell you now, believe me or not, there is no hell for the man-beast. One must CHOOSE to find, to love, and to serve God, without fear of hellfire, nor with expectation of reward. They don't get counted in any census or unemployment statistic, but if any of them take a job, that gets counted as a "new job created" under Joseph. Recently, I have seen an increase in job applicants with work histories showing 6 jobs worked over the past 4 years. They never held a job long enough to be able to qualify for unemployment benefits or stayed unemployed long enough to collect unemployment benefits. Such people are great to pad Joseph's new jobs numbers while not impacting the jobless numbers.

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years

You probably have noticed that every month we get two different "jobs added" numbers. The first is the beforehand prediction by a select group of economists, and the second is the actual number. This has the effect of confusing the public about the real number. The only rationale that I can see for the prediction is to create some aura of authenticity about these economists, who actually know very little and are virtually always wrong. So why mention it?.

The jobs report is smoke & mirrors every month, and every month, "corrections" sharply reduce prior job numbers. Full-time jobs are declining, replaced with P-T jobs. Actual numbers of the employed are declining as people take second & third P-T jobs to try to keep up with inflation. The job market is a mess, and govt reports are deceptive.

The problem with a true flat tax is the rate. Without an exclusion, the poor would be paying a greater portion of their income in taxes. Secondly, the real problem is the complexity of other items included in the tax returns.(credits, deductions and exclusions). A better system would be a accumulated system similar to the old estate tax. The rate would be progressive, the income would be all income ever earned, and reduced for taxes previously paid. The rate should be zero for basic cost of living (60 yrs @ 20,000)

*We wouldn't need a flat tax if the people in our government would stop wasting money. Use what you get and nothing more!!!* Paying back election money to support some agenda that is wasteful by enacting legislation that pays the contributors more than they put in just to run propaganda ads? Giving out grants for things that amount to nothing such as, why you spill coffee from an open cup when walking. Money that will never be seen again and not even taxable; is pretty wasteful. Think about it this way; If the government needs more money why is it so bent on bringing in millions of people who have no skills and have no jobs available to them to pay it back and expect everyone who has paid taxes to support them? The more that become dependent on the government only reinforces laziness and Biden has imported millions of lazy people who think this country and its citizens owe them something. We owe them nothing and a flat tax will not fix that either when the government is controlling the amount of flat tax you would pay, would it? *What we have now is taxation without representation and we all know what that caused when the Revolutionary War started, don't we?*

You better think better about what you agree with. A flat tax that is controlled by a government that has no self-control will take 50% of your pay and there will be nothing you can do about it if 50% is paid out by everyone while the cost of things rises 52% and the government keeps wasting more. You can bet they will also want taxes at the pump and all retail outlets to tack onto that, so you would effectively be subject to a salary that equates to .20 cents on the dollar and the government wastes the other .80 cents. Sounds like socialism to me.

Just to clarify it, *the FEDS as most people know them are the LARGEST banks in the country* and they are living High on the Hog just in interest being paid back by the taxpayers. Now Congress has its duty to minimize the cost, but will they do their job? The FEDS will not complain about billions in interest and not even touch the principal of the loans made to the country. *Money doesn't grow on trees, but banks act like they have a forest full of them.*
