None of the Fallout games entirely match the vibe and story of the show, Fallout 1 and 3 would be the closest in term of story because of the "Vault Dweller going outside" while 4 and 76 are closer in term of atmosphere and mood... but people wanting to have an experience similar to that of Lucy in the show don't really have a game for that.

Thaddeus should become a Ghoul not a Supermutant. So many ghouls exist because of FEV in pre-war food. Becoming a Supermutant requires prolonged exposure to FEV submerged in a tank. Low dose FEV just ghoulifies someone, like Hancock in Fallout 4.

I just want to state that the Fallout TV didn't just leave things "Open to interpretation" about Shady Sands (which they called LA in the show, which in the games is named The Boneyard), is that they effectively wrote off 2 million NCR residents that exist throughout the entire state of California, parts of Nevada, Oregon, and even Baja Mexico, and decided that one incorrectly named town was the end of the biggest post-war faction in the franchise.

I loved and hated the fallout tv show. If they did not change the location of shady sands and nuke it, the Fallout tv show would be the greatest video game adaptation ever produced. What they should have done was Nuka LA. And that region has been abandoned by the NCR Government because of being stretched thin and War Weary since the events of New Vegas. But bethesda had to disrespect Fallout 1 2 NV because TOD IS JEALOUS he never made a Fallout that good and F3 is my Fav so I'm biased toward the Bethesda Fallouts.

I think he's just bad at his job and mismanages a lot because of his biases. I mean look at the elderscrolls and how its changed over time losing many of the things people loved about the series mechanically. I honestly don't think he knows what we enjoy or why we enjoy it. What i think is it doesn't matter who is going to make the next Fallout, because it's clear between what Obsidian has been doing with OW2/Avowed and with Bethesda working on ES6 and the upcoming Doom. The next Fallout game shouldn't be expected any earlier than 2030 and that is if everything goes as planned. If not then expect a 2032-2033 release. Either way people need to just relax and forget about the next Fallout game because we are a long, long, long way off from it.

That applies to all games, but triply so for Fallout. If Bethesda were smart, they would buy Fallout London and sell it to the public as a stand alone game It exists, and the general public is both hungry for more content, and a lot of people simply don't have the time / skill to get the mod working. It seems like a win-win no brainer

A question for all. Would you want a NV 2 (continuation of the original) or a different story/character, new locations, etc.. but still on Vegas and on the FO4 engine? (Kinda like how NV was on FO3's engine.)

The Fallout show did not care about region lore before, there is no reason to think they will this time. All they care about is getting more people to buy Fallout 4, and spend lots of cash in the 76 Atomic shop. Also "going feral" in 76 is almost certainly not going to be permanent, which means that Bethesda is fucking with the lore again, with no care to the repercussions.

It is obvious that Bethesda has quite a few development teams in various locations, but currently we only have one Todd Howard. At some point, I think they need to get beyond having one person that has oversight; or rather creative oversight.

I think Fallout S2 restarted filming on 10th of Jan, as should've on 8th, but Amaz announced two day delay due to fires.

As fast a possible is on average about 3-4 weeks per episode. Unless you go old school star trek style and pump out an episode every two weeks, giving you 26 episodes a year.

@ bc this time it actually makes sense? Use your brain and actually weigh out the pros and cons of making a remaster for New Vegas considering the popularity of the show, the fact that the new season takes place in New Vegas, and the fact that there won’t be a new fallout game for 15 years
