As an Arsenal fan, I'm trying not to be gleeful about this, because the guy must be really suffering. He's young, it's only been 9 months, he's had 3 managers, and how many team-mates.. ?? 35..? 40..? The owners are a bunch of ignorant foreigners with no football-culture, so no clue how to run a club, nor engage the correct manager and exercise patience for everything to work, which it will, if only they keep away from the team/manager etc.. He is an excellent player just waiting to find his feet. The same goes for all the other youngsters brought in. Fans and owners should leave them in peace.

People need to understand how football works before they start commenting and making content on players before looking at the bigger picture. Look at our last game; Everything goes on the right-hand side. Gusto overlaps, giving space to Sterling, Gallagher fills in to form a triangle on the right side. Left side we've got Mudryk. That's it. We have Colwill who never leaves the center-half whilst playing left back, Mudryk gets no support from Enzo, Gallagher og Caicedo(whoever our third is). Mudryk is left alone on that left-hand side. Put him infront of Chilwell, who does run forward, thus creating space for Mudryk, and we can talk about "what's going on with mudryk". As of right now, he's being completely isolated on that left wing and at the same time, because of that, the ball goes down the right side. Even Jackson didnt get a single pass from our whole right side last game, but we're gonna talk about individuals being the problem?
@ray-mokoloemmanuel69369 ай бұрын
Finally someone with working eyes thank you for your comment you just made my day
@user-zm9xf7mo4p9 ай бұрын
That makes sense and all that but there's still no excuse for what Mudryk does when he DOES have the ball,, Passing is poor, touch is poor, he's fast but he knocks the ball to far away from him or just looses the ball we can speak about the ethics all around it but it's bonkers to go on like the guy on his own isn't playing poor.
@OfficialCarebox9 ай бұрын
I agree, he's not performing as he probably should. But having played at a higher level myself, not PL high, but high in my country, I know that starting a game, then be benched for 2, then start, then benched for 3, then start has a major impact on how you perform. You end up trying to do too much and "making sure I get picked next game" is always in your head. So you end up making wrong decisions trying to prove you should be picked. But having no support, nobody making runs for you etc makes it an impossible task. Just look at how Mudryk was in pre-season whilst having space created for him on the wing and support from midfield. It's night and day.@@user-zm9xf7mo4p

I think one of the hardest things to learn is using your pace correctly especially if you’re really fast. The reason Messi is so good is because he’s quick but his quickness is in perfect sync with his dribbling abilities. He’s going just quick af but he’s always a step or two close to the ball to change directions instead of big touches. His height is also perfect for all his other attributes. Mudryk needs slow it down a little I believe like in this clip he looked so good because he kept the ball close and was very quick but wasn’t sprinting letting the ball get away from him. For me its less about the goals and assists and more about his performances. The energy and threat he was in his first few appearances has dissipated. He's presence doesn't improve nor influence the team. Ultimately, he may have the ability and potential but he lacks personality and boldness. Something I've noticed about young attackers is they're scared to take risks, make mistakes and try things that may seem beyond their abilities. Anthony Gordon is the perfect example for young players. He tries things that seem risky and outlandish, and has improved massively by doing that. I hope poch encourages our young squad to do so.
