It's like weeds and flowers, it's all about how you attend to your garden that determines how your flowers grow.

That's exactly the point. Given that islam is very restrictive about how muslims should dress, and places strict limits on music and other forms of art (especially dancing, particularly for women, which is prohibited), I, along with many others, find it hypocritical how they engage in those supposedly forbidden activities and then complain about the westerners' way of life.

@@kuratr Islam is "very restrictive" about how people act for the benefit of the people, Muslim women dress modestly (demure) for a multitude of reasons, that including: 1.) Compliance with Allah’s Command: The Quran, the holy book of Islam, emphasizes the importance of modesty in dress (Quran 24:30-31). Muslim women dress modestly to fulfill this divine command and demonstrate their obedience to Allah’s will. 2.) Protection from Fitnah: Fitnah refers to temptation, corruption, or moral decay. Modest dress helps Muslim women avoid situations that may lead to moral compromise or temptation, thereby protecting themselves and others from fitnah. 3.) Respect for Men: In Islamic society, men are considered responsible for controlling their gaze and desires. Modest dress helps Muslim women avoid situations that may provoke men’s desires, allowing them to maintain their dignity and respect. 4.) Self-Respect and Empowerment: Modest dress is not only a requirement for Muslim women but also a means of self-respect and empowerment. By dressing modestly, women demonstrate their commitment to their faith and values, and they are less likely to be objectified or treated as mere objects. 5.) Community and Social Harmony: Modest dress promotes social harmony within the Muslim community. It helps to create a sense of unity and shared values among believers, while also distinguishing Muslim women from those who do not adhere to Islamic principles. 6.) Inner Commitment and Piety: Modest dress is an outward manifestation of an inner commitment to worship Allah and follow Islamic teachings. It signifies a Muslim woman’s devotion to her faith and her desire to please Allah. as for dancing it is prohibited for both genders the reasons include: 1.) Mixed-gender gatherings: Dancing with members of the opposite sex, whether men and women or non-mahram relatives, is considered haram. This is because it can lead to improper sexual desires and arousal, which is forbidden in Islam. 2.) Immodest movements: Dancing involves movements that can be immodest and expose the body, which is considered haram. Even in segregated gatherings, dancing is discouraged because it can lead to copying professional dancers and non-Muslims, who often perform immodest movements. 3.) Association with music and entertainment: Dancing is often associated with music and entertainment, which are considered haram in Islam. Music and dancing together can lead to a Lahwi (enrapturing) manner, making it unlawful. 4.) Potential for evil consequences: Some scholars argue that dancing, even in segregated gatherings, can lead to evil consequences, such as the spread of immoral behavior, the normalization of sinful acts, and the erosion of modesty and haya (Islamic modesty). Islam is a religion that cuts off sinful acts at the root and it is understandable that people will find it strict, but certain things that ALLAH the creator of our world and universe has prohibited for us to do for OUR own benefit. I as well find it hypocritical that people who publicly engage in these activities publicly complain about this. However, in Islam if someone is committing a sin publicly you have the right to address it publicly since it fact affects other people and creates more fitnah (trials) for everyone. Also as a Muslim community, we need to stop putting others down for committing sins publicly and urge them to repent and give them knowledge in order for them to change.A for the Muslims of Philadelphia you guys need to do better as a community. thank you for coming to my kutbah (surmen/speech). SALAM

@@kuratr Take it from a Christian, there is NO religious sect more hypocritical than modern Christianity. Stop attacking muslims, and make a video about how Christian leaders preach hate when they should be preaching love. @@dollarcatcha The movement has it's roots in black nationalism, pan africanism and coping with the fact blacks in the states were enslaved by christians. If they converted and were truth believers they would be obversement of their faith. You can hide your secular goals behind faith just like the klan did but you lessen both by conflating the two, because they are at odds with each other. If you actually look into the nation of islam as a muslim you will see it as quite hereitcal with goofy fake scifi tier lore, freemasonry and fake history. It's scientology for black people with added racism. Malcolm X saw it for what it was, then got pushed out for calling them out and then they killed him for it.
