The same thing that went wrong in the first half of last season. Lack of fluidity, and completely void of attacking ideas in the final 3rd. Rodri is the most important Man City player. Even before their recent losses, City were fortunate to win some of their games. Rodri’s absence balances things out in the title race. If Liverpool beat Villa & City lose away to Brighton, Liverpool will open up a seven point gap going into the game against City at Anfield, after the international break. As for Arsenal, it’s a must win game already vs Chelsea. Lose that and their chances of a title start to become very remote indeed.

Its so incredibly easy to hand pick stats to create a narrative of Arsenal being bad. When if you look at the situation as a whole its really quite ridiculous the hoops yoi jump through to create it. By fixture difficult rating Arsenal post Sunday will have had the 2nd hardest run of games in the entire league. Their defense has been plagued by injuries throughout the opening of this season in which at times we are relaying on the 7th best defender to play games, regardless of "squad depth" no other team has had to dig that deep to field 4 fir defenders. In terms of chance creation, stats are skewed from the 3 games where there has been inconsistent reffering decisions made. Weather you deem them correct or not the same situations have not been applied. Having Odegaard injured for 7 of those games and in turn scored the same number of goals as Man city have without KDB with Arsenal having 10 in 7 without and City 10 with KDB 6 without. Not even the greatest team in the league can have two World class 10s in their squad for depth. So yeah all waffle and i guess by commenting I Have bitten on the ragebait but to say we are out of the title by now is crazy. IMO
