Groundwater is a vital part of our water cycle and everyday life. Over 30% of all global freshwater is stored below the surface as groundwater. Come learn about how water gets stored in an aquifer as groundwater and then gets brought back up to the surface to be used as our drinking water. In the tri-county region, whether you get your water from a public supplier or a private well, we all rely on groundwater to keep our lives going. Find out ways you can help protect this vital resource.
