The first thing most people consider before choosing a country to visit is peace, safety, and security and Ghana definitely gives you that plus more. Also, the Ghanaian people are generally calm, peaceful and hospitable and it reflects in how life goes in the country.

There is no Heaven or Perfect Country on earth, but the most Common News or Activities in every country define the Nature of every country. Ghana is KNOWN for PEACE and GOOD NEWS whereas, Nigeria on the other hand is always POPULAR with BAD NEWS as the majority of Activities happening in there. Ghana is Peaceful not because Ghanaians are praising themselves, but that's the Nature of Ghanaians themselves which is being witnessed by every Foreigner who enters Ghana🇬🇭 to enjoy for themselves. Nigerians should work on themselves to be attracted by the World and Stop Comparing and Competing with Ghana for every little everything. Respect is Earned and not Forced. TRUTH NEVER LIES, period!

Anytime I meet a Nigerian or other African in America, they all speak sooo negatively about their countries. I’m always shocked. When you hear a Ghanaian talking about Ghana to anyone, they highlight and speak so highly/positively of Ghana. Ghanaians are their own marketers of Ghana. I absolutely love that about Ghanaians. Nobody wash their dirty laundry in public and Ghanaians are MASTERFUL with that. Even when you bring up something negative about Ghana, the majority of them will find a way to turn that into something positive or they’ll say “we are working on it”. Africans need to learn that about Ghanaians.

I agree, but most crimes committed in Ghana are mostly not committed by Ghanains. Check the data

Jumztv, ur question about Ghana is really profound! Answer to the question may vary per whom u ask. That said, let me say a few reasons why it is so as opposed to Nigeria. First, Gh actions for the most part is not for them alone,but for the whole of Africa and beyond.eg independence struggle Gh led the way. Non Aligned Movement Gh was among the architects. Our flag serves as "GPS" for especially people of African descent living outside the continent the " BLACK STAR embossed on the flag. Illustrious sons of Ghana really help people to find out of Gh, likes Osagyefo Nkrumah kofi Annan solders who served the middle east conflicts. The Rwanda &Burundi civil war when the whole world turned their back on them it was Gh who single handedly went in to calm the fire . The list is endless. One trait is the demeanor of Ghanaians is unmatched . All these have immensely helped to put Gh on the awareness of the world. The project 2019 was NOT the year of return to Ghana rather " A YEAR OF RETURN " to all the nations of Africa. Gh therefore , do things not only for herself but for the entire continent of Africa known to house the black race - BLACK STAR!!!.

Of course, Nigeria is also there. The reason why Ghana problems are not highlighted as Nigerians is simple. Ghanaians are not loud compared to Nigerians. Most wealthy Ghanaians don't even wanna show off their wealth.

Allow me to digress a bit, in 1960, Ghana and South Korea had the same GDP per capita, come 2017, SK had a GDP 10 times that of Ghana, in 2022 Ghana was ranked 122 in the complexity economic index, while SK was ranked 4th, so clearly Ghana has issues with pace in economic development. Hence the need for Ghanaians to look within and solve our problems. Nigerians must do same. Ghana and Nigeria are two very different countries, different challenges, different cultures, ideals, values, customs, and hence different resolution modules for problem solving. Get this today, we are so different it will confound you! We are of the same race, West Africans, but so so different, never underestimate the difference. It doesn't mean we can't work together though.
@papa226313 күн бұрын
In 1967, USA (CIA) with all it's power didn't help overthrow the president of South Korea and destabilized the country for decades but rather helped them developed. I understand we could do much better to improve as a nation, but there are so many factors that have and are still impeding us from reaching our full potential.

Madam, if you think you have horrible things about Ghana you are free to say it. We Ghanaians don't blow praises on ourselves, it's foreigners who do that for from their own experiences with us. Most KZbin channels publicising Ghana are either Nigerians or other foreigners. We are not perfect but we strive for the best.

And also some horrible things happening in Ghana is link to foreigners, like two people were arrested in ghana for attempting to defraud a 80 year old from America, goggle it and see for yourself where they from, I can go on and on. I rest my care. Plus the law also works in Ghana, at least about 89% percent to my knowledge. Some Ghanains commit crimes, but mostly it's foreigners who also commit these crimes, not the indigens.
