Heavy Metal is a lifestyle it’s what keeps you going if your a true metal fan you don’t need drugs or alcohol because the music provides you everything you need to start your morning keep you awake on a long trip or even deeper it can save your life I can be having a terrible day and my mind going all kinds of directions but I can put on Winger or Dio just for a vast spectrum and whatever was bothering me doesn’t matter anymore! Love the videos and appreciate your love for this music keep it up

I've always just looked at metal as the dark, bastard child of Rock and Roll. When Rock and Roll is having a family reunion, metal is the black sheep of the family that doesn't get invited.

The problem with the scene are the promoters. They think posting on Facebook is all they need to do. They're choosing quantity over quality. So the bands not only need to practice,. rehearse, write, record and promote. And design shirts, put out the money for them because that's the main source of revenue. It's disheartening when there is no support other than the other bands who are going through the same thing. In the 90s and early 2000s, you were part of a community being at the shows. It was cool to be a scene kid. That doesn't exist anymore for the younger generation. Live, underground music isn't the cool thing anymore.
