He is everywhere In the heavens and the earth He makes the stars shine But he cannot be seen He is noble, abundant, And fills the universe He can take many forms He can help heal He can help kill Praise be onto He Helium

Drakethedrake It's not everywhere on earth. Although it is the second most common element in the universe, on earth it is rather rare which is part of the reason for its late discovery. And it's usually hydrogen that makes a star shine and not helium. If I'm not mistaking, even if a star has reached the point of fusing helium, it does it in its core and not on its outer layers. And as mentioned in the video, helium is at best liquid and of course it's also a noble gas meaning it is not very chemically reactive under normal conditions. So much for the many forms it can take.

Drake Devine I should have known that the Drakes will stick together. But your false idols will not prevail and as long as I live I shall fight for the truth. It's Carbon who our praise should belong to. It's Him that gives life. It's Him that does not shun the common elements. It's him that bonds with the low-born. And it's Him that can be found on earth and in heavens.

Drake Devine Heathens, I knew it! The noble gases will fall, mark my words, and Carbon will be our leader! Their reactions are weak and only together can one release much energy. Long live Carbon and all its compounds!

4ever Moh The speed of sound is different for monatomic gasses than diatomic gasses. Helium is a noble gas, therefore it's valence electrons are all there and it doesn't need to combine with any other atom to be electrically neutral. Hydrogen on the other hand, needs to combine with another H atom to be electrically neutral. Inhaling He changes your voice's pitch because the speed of sound in a monatomic gas is higher, and we normally breathe diatomic gasses.(N2 and O2)
