Beneath the tomb is not the body of Parameshwara. It is Sang Nila Utama’s . When Raffles first set his foot at Fort Canning, he did something foolish to the tomb, which back fired at him. He got mysteriously sick that William Farquhar went around from village to village looking for a healer. Eventually he found a healer, he was treated by a pious old man. William Farquhar and the pious old man became good friends.

Will it be ok if you share with the audience what give you these insights as no solid recording was made since the history dated to more than 600 years ago.

@ One of the contributory factors is that the Tomb at Fort Canning doesn’t faces the direction of Mecca. When a muslim passed on, the tomb will be made possible for the face of the corpse to be made to face the direction of Holy Kaabah in Mecca. Defeated by Both Siamese Kingdom and The Madjapahit kingdom of Java, in 1401 Parameswara fled to Kota Biawak and Kota Busuk of Muar regency in the attempt to set up a new beginning. Unsuitable grounds and infestation of monitor lizard led to the failed attempts on both places. He then went further up until he reached Sungei Bertam, the former name of Melaka and successfully established the Empire of Malacca. In contrary to what taught by the colonists to erase truth, Parameswara did not name Melaka after a fruit/tree which he found when he first set foot at Sungei Bertam. The name Melaka rather came from an Arabic word “Malaqat” Which translates to “ The meeting place of Traders”. In the year 1414, At the age of 72 Parameswara embraced Islam when he married the princess of Pereulak/ Perlak, Puteri Ratna the daughter of Sultan Makhdum Alaiddin Malik Muhammad Amin Shah II of Pereulak/ Perlak Sultanate and called himself Raja Iskandar Shah. He had a son whom he named Sultan Megat Iskandar Shah who became the second ruler of the empire . Parameswara passed away in the year 1414 that very same year . Two Portugese writters by the name of Manuel Godinho de Erédia and Tom Pires mention in their writings which mentioned “ Parameswara grave can still be seen in 16th Century at Tanjong Tuan Alor Gajah Melaka”. “ Parameswara died in Bertam, Melaka”. However before his passing, Parameswara instructed Megat Iskandar Shah to built a decoy tomb/shrine bearing his name at Tanjong Tuan Alor Gajah Melaka but bury his body at a different location. This is to confuse enemies. His actual grave is on a hillside at Bukit Melaka. Humble, nothing fancy, unmarked, neither shrine nor tomb. There lies his body, his final resting place. Singapore has been a metropolitan city even before the arrival of raffles. It has been a place where traders and merchants from India, China, Arabian peninsula and asian archipelago made their stopover since the reign of Sang Nila Utama, also known as Sri Tri Buana. How he got Temasek in his hand was not a walk in a park either. In 1324 , He fought a governor by the name Temaji from the Siamese Kingdom of Ayutha and gained victory. He built the foundation and ruled Singapore for 48 years. He received a recognition from Emperor Hongwu of The Ming Dynasty in 1396 and officially given the title , Sang Utama Parameswara Batara Sri Tri Buana that signified him as the ruler of 3 region which were Palembang, Bintan and Temasik. The attack of Siamese and Javanese kingdom which led Parameswara to fled is not intended to invade Singapore. It was to revenge the death of a spy from Siamese kingdom whom was killed by Parameswara. Meanwhile the attack of Madjapahit was plotted by his own official The bendahara Sang Rajuna Tapa. A book titled 1819 by Isa Kamari shares untold stories of raffles, William Farquhar, The pious man (Habib Noh Alhabsyee) and the british.

I once saw a yellow-orange orb float towards me, pause right before my face, and passed me by, at the top of Fort Canning Gate, in broad daylight

If the tomb is empty why will the place be powerful ??? Don't makes sense.

Any spirits can go into the tomb even its empty. If the spirits are evil, it will be even more powerful.
