Depending on what you're planning to do, I would do the hop on hop off tours from Hollywood - they go through Beverly Hills etc - you can usually find a good deal on Groupon. You can find cheap Themepark & attractions tickets on Klook, but have restrictions if you need to change any dates around. Uber is a good way to get around, but they also have LYFT which is another cheap ride share option. Tips are expected around 25%. Some places no longer took cash, but most still do. It's a very busy place, so it takes longer to get everywhere - population of about 12 Million in LA. Meals are very large servings.

Hollywood is embarrassing these days, It’s so disheartening being there. Was such a magical place when I was a kid but it’s now riddled with too many “rumours” and too much controversy. It’s sad to see so many shops for lease as well.
