As far as I know, they aren't scalpers. Sure TCI sells at higher prices but they bring their own box. I am pretty sure I have seen C4D sell mainlines at mrp, even last month.

Boycott will force scalpers to sell the cars at MRP or lower than MRP if people aren't willing to pay the MRP to scalpers.

It's gotten out of hand with scalping over the past year with many actual collectors in my proximity pretty much giving up on mainlines. Buyers have a huge part in promoting scalpers for sure. Complaining will do us no good unless we take a firm stand. To gain something, we will have to lose something. But again, at the end of the day people will pay 1.2x to even 3x the mrp for the cars they want.

I have mentioned your problem in the video also that I totally understand that either you will not get any car or you will need to purchase from them but what you need to understand is that if you do not purchase now, it will not give them the incentive to keep scalping. You just need to stop buying for sometime. Eventually, when they will not be able to clear their stock then automatically this will reduce by big margin.

Yesterday I have gone on peg hunt in 2 hamleys store in lucknow.....both of the store said that we don't have hotwheels single cars and only 5 packs are available....and that too only fantasy cars.....which is I am not fan of....like not a single car is not available......2 months ago I gone to hamleys and asked their one employee about hotwheels singles one said we don't have and another employed showed me a lot of real castings and got Delorial Alpha 5 and McLaren P1 in light blue

True no one can charge more than MRP. I also do sell hotwheels but with rear cars i tell customer to buy 1 fantasy casting too. So i got 2 P case with (2-treasure hunt). I sold 1 with 4 fantasy casting on MRP no extra charge. Customer is not fool. We are responsible if such activities are going through around us. Great video ☺☺.

I agree with you Scalping is bad it must be stopped but Not all sellers are scalpers those who are saying scalpers scalpers for no reasons See *some* sellers are importing not only premiums but also old 90s, 00s, 10s mainline and special hw from another country toh obviously shipping ke charges import custom duty ke charges bhi wahi dete hai Phir bhi yeh seller 1k-2k bhej rahe hai with 180rs for shipping charges If we try to import hot wheels by self then it would have cost more than 4k-5k depending on the situation

a very effective way of hunting nowadays which i do is i tkae the shop keepers number and annoy them every week asking when a new stock will come luckily ii called one today and they said ki aaj ki hua hai restock and got prosche 96, acura nsx and dark horse ( the shops in tilak nagar there is another prosche there and few more good cars)... another what you can do is tell many of ur friends that u collect hotwheel.. i many times get calls from friends hi hum bahar aaye hai yaha aisi aisi hotwheels hai tko chahiye kya its very effective too xD

8:40 at point you are right in my city there is very late distribution of hot wheels and i am also wating for N case and one specific shop you make video approx 1 year ago the store name is( TOY ZONE VARANASI). There was a person who buy whole case and left nothing for other collector. I also wait and call between 2 to 3 days for the P case and i received call from shop owner. After i arrived at store the person buy all the hot wheels and i got 1 the Tesla Model S. And also in Hamleys they don't order cases they says there was low sale.❤

Never thought something like my hobby would make me feel so depressed, cars which were easily available from shops are now nowhere to be found. Imagine how collectors are now going on hunts just to find basic mainline cars. Before it was the rare ones and most sought-after treasure hunts. Its reached that point where genuine collectors return home with nothing. Its sad At this point its all about patience now, just wait... Wait till the scalpers have no option to sell whatever they have. Its upto real collectors to know that our hobby doesn't have to be expensive, we are making it expensive. Sell import or rare ones for whatever price, but the normal castings, just think if it is really worth spending over. This video is much needed for the community and I hope this reaches everywhere so that someone or something happens to bring about a change for this. And yes like bhai has said at the end if someone does feel guilty after watching this video, yes they need to think about how they are destroying this hobby.

This is very frustrating bro. Today I went to the local stores near me, hamleys, even Toys R Us in search for some good collectibles, diecasts and all of them had nothing to show for it just some boring fantasy castings. I asked all of them and they told me people come and buy everything in bulk. They don’t even display the cars in the shop, they just straight up have dealers that purchase the new stock right out of their basement. I don’t understand what is happening. How am I even supposed to start collecting.

Honestly, Scalpers do exist in every collector field even in sneakers there are scalpers and resellers and it's not because of you Scalpers generally buy all the IRL castings doesn't matter what the hype is when I was new to this hobby I learned a lot about Diecast and Hotwheels from you so I don't think there is any problem sharing what you own and what you think is rare and HW scalping is everywhere in the world. Scalpers are the problem, yes, and Giant retailers like Hamleys Crossword also kind of support them because they buy many at the same time. But there is also a catch: shopkeepers are ready to sell these guys who are also not buying any fantasy casting, only IRL. They still did it maybe because they thought no one else was going to buy or something. And yes, the main mistake is by Mattel India; their distribution is so bad. Some websites do sell it over MRP which is also a wrong practice and not allowed in India but I guess it's all a part of Peg Hunt now because no matter what if any hobby grows some people try to ruin it or take advantage of it

Bro I have seen two of the 90s street scene cars. One is the Nissan 180SX (799-810rs) and a Honda Civic (840rs) on Amazon. Should I buy it or not? So one employee told me that she doesn't understand how they always turn up every month on time of the delivery and she's like we don't even get a chance to put couple of boxes aside for other customers. 😢 That hurts

I have clearly mentioned that scalpers are selling at twice thrice the prices. Please do not hesitate to pay a genuine collector, 10 ₹20 more because you have to understand that he himself is buying at MRP and he is spending his petrol and other expenses to go and get the car so if he is charging you 10 ₹20 extra that is not a big deal deal that is a part of the expense which has been done to purchase the car.

Hi, I live in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. I visited a toy store (ToyPort) this evening which has a section for hotwheels. I always buy my hotwheels from there. I don't know why but the new stock that has arrived there, it all has the description in the back in Japanese or some language and not in English and the concerning part is the MRP. They all are tagged with the MRP of Rs.399. I asked them the reason but they couldn't tell anything. They just said "Humare yahan naya stock aise hi aaya hai". All the cars are priced at that only. A normal tooned Mazda is also being priced at Rs.399. I can't understand the reason behind it. Does anyone has also faced this issue in their local market?
