I appreciate your reasoning. However, being human is to be made in the image of God, Creator, & Sustainer. The thought that we don't need the Church, 10 Commandments, or God to tell us that murder is wrong, is in itself a fallacy. The world does not run off 'Judeo Christian' beliefs. Many belief systems & tribes believe Murder is okay. Islam supports mercy killings to prevent children from falling into apostasy. Mormons say it's okay to have multiple wives. We are made in God's image & are proving daily that we need to be in His shadow & mercy more day by day.
