Why isn’t Jesus getting any glory in these comments? Only the speaker is, and he’s not deflecting the glory from him ON TO Jesus! How sad! It’s not about what humans think. It’s about what our Lord Jesus says as written in both the Old and New Testament. To GOD be the glory, not man!

For the soul is the one that meets the Lord. Hence, why He sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ, to come and fulfill the commandments not to abolish them and to die for our sins so that they may be forgiven. When you have your last dying breath you’ll be meeting your creator. I pray that the veil that blinds you is unveiled and that your love for Jesus Christ comes into fruition.

@ Yes Jesus is the truth, he came to redeem mankind. His example is one of salvation. The spirit of Christ beckons all who are saved in his name. That much is true. But what is also true is that not everybody needs saving in Jesus. He came for the criminals and the delinquent and the lost and hopeless. He didn't come for the rightous. In the time of the Nazarene humanity was a lost cause. We were feeding eachother to the lions and impaling people on spikes. Caesar held orgies while watching Christians burn on stakes. So the message of Christ was needed to save a hopeless humanity. We are no longer in that era. People no longer die in gladiator matches. We don't abandon our new borns. Our leaders don't have wild sex parties while observing you burning on a cross. We have adopted the Christian way. Your religion had its place once, but it is no longer needed. Its done its job. Its saved the world. Now let the world be the world.

The Bible is a test. You can use it like the Pharisees to push rules at the expense of love. Or you can use it to include all and bring everyone to Jesus. But people you don't think worthy are also included. John 3:16 says it all. It's the 1 common thread through ALL Christian sects. As to the law, Matt 22:34-40 gives us the only law we need. This is ratified over and over, especially in Romans 13:8-10. 1 Cor 13:4-7 gives us a clue what love is. "Tough love" is not even hinted.

I definitely think Matt could've handled it better. He stood his ground but he did not give even a smidgeon of wisdom regarding the distortion of reality and how the rampant sexualization of everything in society, since the approval of contraception by the Anglican church, has led to radical objectification of not only others but of ourselves. And how its no wonder certain people find it hard to live in their own skin when they are bombarded by judgements of their aesthetics, and their entire outward being. A bit of Theology of the Body couldn't hurt when challenged like this. If we can't love who we are without shame then how could we ever allow God's love in? Something along those lines would've been helpful in a situation like this.

I really appreciate you guys saying this and for being so gentle with your response. I used to identify as nonbinary before I fully understood Gods love. Now that I do I no longer identify that way. His love is worth everything and he said that we show that we love him by following his commandments. Part of that is following the authority he gave to St Peter the first pope. God loves all of us so much that he wants us to thrive, that's what his commandments and the gentle leadership of the magastirum do for us. They teach us to be more fully alive. And I can attest to that being true. My life has been so much better when I let God love me the way he always intended too and stopped holding on to ideologies that didn't match reality. Anything that tries to make reality a lie is mental illness and it's a very damaging way to live. It hurts you. It causes anxiety and depression and this obsession with the need to force others to agree with the lie your trying to push onto them. The only thing that does is slowly splinter your mind. Ill pray for those two people who asked questions, and I hope they come to know God's love and truth like I did.

I agree with the truth of what you are saying with one small exception. When people reject reality in favour of the lie, it is primarily spiritual illness not mental illness. Spiritual illness reveals itself in choosing ourselves over our God and the truth He has imparted to us. It is choosing our way over His way, our ideas over His our idea of truth over His truth. It is rooted in pride and the ignorance of who He is and who we are. Without that fundamental understanding we cannot know ourselves because we do not know Him in whose image we are made. In Mt 25 Jesus speaks of the judgement that He will pronounce over each of us. The line “Away from me, I never knew you” is chilling. He doesn’t know us because we don’t resemble what He created and meant us to be. God bless you and keep you.

"Respect what we call ourselves"...this is a type of "human respect" as catholics. In traditional Catholic doctrine, the sin of "human respect" refers to acting against one's moral or religious convictions out of fear of what others might think, say, or do. It is when a person compromises their faith, virtue, or duty to God in order to gain approval, avoid criticism, or conform to societal expectations. Explanation and Examples Denying the Faith - For example, if a Catholic refrains from making the Sign of the Cross in public out of embarrassment or fear of mockery, this could be seen as a form of human respect. Neglecting Religious Duties - Skipping Mass, prayer, or confession because one does not want to appear "too religious" or different from peers. Committing Sin to Please Others - Engaging in gossip, dishonesty, or immoral behaviour to fit in with friends or colleagues. Moral Cowardice - Failing to speak the truth or defend Catholic teachings due to fear of backlash. Moral Theology Perspective Venial or Mortal Sin? - The gravity of this sin depends on the extent of the compromise. If it involves denying Christ or committing grave sin to avoid social rejection, it could be mortal. Lesser forms may be venial. Opposed to the Fear of God - Human respect stems from fear of men, whereas virtue calls for the fear of God (i.e., reverence for Him and His commandments above human opinions). Scriptural and Theological Basis Matthew 10:28 - "Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." John 12:42-43 - Some leaders believed in Jesus but did not confess it because they feared being expelled from the synagogue, for "they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God." St. Thomas Aquinas (Summa Theologica, II-II, q. 129, a. 3) discusses how excessive concern for human opinion can lead to sin. Overcoming the Sin of Human Respect Cultivating holy courage and fortitude (one of the gifts of the Holy Ghost). Praying for the fear of God rather than the fear of man. Meditating on the lives of saints who remained steadfast despite persecution. Above all say the Rosary for them...

Claiming God would want us to go along with something we believe to be a lie is nuts. Nobody should ever be made to say something they know is untrue. The truth is the correct thing. It's the people who won't tell you the truth that you should be worried about. So tired of this crap. People can live their life however they wish and I don't dislike any person for something like being gay or trans. Telling them what you know to be a lie is not how I'd want anyone to be to me. You don't lie to someone you love.

Yes trans women are not women. But they are female, as female is a human archetype regarding a young and gorgeous sexy Goddess. Our society worships the female. From Onlyfans to PornHub to instagram influencers. Its never been a better time to be young, gorgeous and a lady. Gay and effeminate men already have female qualities, they're just going full circle.

Jesus Christ was extremely offensive. The Gospel is highly offensive. It's intended to be offensive. It's meant to offend you of your sins in order to get you repent of your sins and become a born again Christian.

Jesus was offensive to people abusing their power, not spending his time bashing marginalized groups. The hilarious thing about all of the faux Christians is that they are always invoking gods truth, justice and wrath upon marginalized groups, but for some odd peculiar reason whenever one of their own is a grapist, hurderer or sledophile good ole christian forgiveness comes to shield them from any of the truth and justice that would have been bestowed upon any other? Ya'll are so full of it. Most are just children of mammon using their faux religion as a veil of virtue while they use it as a cudgel and excuse to harm others.

If you are a shepherd and one of your sheep falls in a hole wouldn't you rescue it. We are taught to try to rescue people from sin, whatever sin that is.

As a beginner, it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Elizabeth Marie Hawley has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.
