A backpack style diaper bag is more comfortable to wear and hold your baby at the same time. It's perfect for times when you are out alone with your baby. Thr drawback with a sling kind of bag is that the whole weight of the bag will be on one shoulder and if you pack a lot, the bag is going to get really heavy and drag and hurt your shoulder. However, if you are not going to pack much, then sling type of bag should work ok. Or else you can try thr tote type of bag. But again you will have to carry it on one shoulder only. I have all 3 types of bags and I use all three depending on the situation and how light or heavy I am packing my bag. Did u buy a stroller? Get a yoyo... U can take it anywhere even in the flight it hardly weighs 6-7 kgs and even u can sit on it if u feel tired some time. My parents got me a stroller from Mothercare it's like yoyo and weighs 6-7 kgs...
