What does being straight even mean in this context? This is a very obviously feminine game for girls and heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, whatever women. Since it's all about empowering female ideals and showing connections between characters as I have seen from the walkthroughs. Still even if you aren't the main audience doesn't mean you can't play it. I am sure more than 10% of the players of this game are gonna be men anyway.
