9:17 I’m used to the energy system because I play 4 gacha games, and this one refreshes faster than the others, so I’m like "omg yay :D" 😂 the norm is 1 per 6 minutes. But I don’t know how fast energy depletes or what you can spend it on, so I guess I shouldn’t get *too* excited yet

Some key information about Infinity Nikki's gacha system: -90 diamonds daily (120 diamonds for 1 pull) -20 pulls/2,400 diamonds for guaranteed 5 star piece (base probability to get a 5 star piece is 1.5%) -10 pulls/1,200 diamonds to guarantee a 4 star piece -the current outfit in the limited resonance banner has 9 outfit pieces to make a full outfit (180 pulls/21,600 diamonds for full outfit) -free limited pulls have an expiration date as of reunion playtest

regarding preformance issues, we need to know what your specs are. in particular, we need to know you're running the game on an NVME and not a HDD. maybe the other creators didn't mention it because it wasn't an issue for them?

they probably didnt mention it cuz most people these days are using SSDs, they're very cheap even the crappiest SATA ones and faster than HDDs. Even phone' storage memory is faster than HDDs. I don't recommend playing a UE5 online only game with probably anti cheat to use a HDD, might cause a lot of stutter if you're using a slow drive that can't keep up (Wuwa has this issue)

I am using an nvme, RTX 4070 ti and AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, pretty solid rig and it couldn't handle the game. Most cozy gamers will be running this on a laptop, so it is important to mention this. Plus when looking at other videos, I saw the pop in, but it was never mentioned.

I wonder if this is like that? regardless, PC optimization is often a crapshoot, so I hope PS and Galaxy work better.

Unreal engine is basically industry standard now so if their QA does not catch it then there’s definitely work in progress to fix it already. I’ve just started playing Palia and it’s running smooth. I would just say to make sure your graphics card is updated and not too old to run games like these!

What an upgrade to the Nikki Mobile game! They added so much and the open world actually works because the storyline is pretty similar and they kept Momo❤ and it’s always been an action adventure with outfit battles. I love free to play games and I never minded the gacha aspect because they made it pretty easy to do daily’s in the mobile game when I played 4 years ago. Really loved it as a 2D game with some animation on the special outfits. I typically have enough discipline to not buy the easy way out 😛 so free to play never bothered me. It looks great as a 3D game as well. I was skeptical at first but this preview is looking so much better than I expected! It also stayed true to the original concept of Nikki 😊 This is literally perfect for me 😭… love story driven games. Hope there’s nothing that’s absolutely locked behind a pay wall.

I think people need to be explained what gacha games are and companies are hiring psychologist to figure out how to get players to part with money and get them hooked to the game using less ethical means. And people need to understand how gaming, something seen as adaptive (helpful) even as a way to for someone to distract themselves as a mental health tool. But it can be maladaptive when addictive components like gambling are used in games.

I was also skeptical lol but is really easy! Maybe for hardcore gamers is may be too easy, but for a noob in pc games like me it was a piece of cake. The only problem I think is I sometimes get really lost between the big ui and the big open world xd I think it is a matter of practice + using the tracking tools they give you so you know what to do next in any given moment, plus a bit of common sense xdd like of there is something that is very high enough and you don't reach, maybe there is a ladder somewhere haha I know it sounds dumb, but I never played 3d games so for me is all new xd

I think if you've played Genshin Impact, you have an idea of what to expect. Also, if you haven't played Genshin then you should. If you want less of the dress up fantasy, and more action adventure portions that is. It's actually kinda funny how it's the opposite of Genshin in that regard. When it comes to dressing/equipping different styles, Genshin is completely limited to its few skins... 🤷

Honestly i have pretty strong distaste towards game that make use of the genshin ui layout. Mmos used to have similar layouts on mobile, but after genshin, a lot of games have it now. And i absolutely hate it. Graphics are amazing though, i absolutely love those

This just screams "mobile game" with PC and console as an afterthought. The biggest red flag for me is the lack of Steam release, as a lot of gacha games avoid Steam especially if they are planning to rely heavily on in-game purchases... I was looking forward to it, but I'll probably give it a miss. Love the "brutally honest" format, but not quite brutal enough... :)

You can access the shop on the beta that is going on. The banners are all for costumes, with no skills so far, just visually beautiful. In order to get a full costume you need to pull 180 times (you can get lucky and need less than that). They are composed by 9 pieces and you get one guaranteed every 20 pulls, you don't get duplicates until you get the full ensemble. The pack that gives around 60-70 pulls or so costs $99. It is the very same model of games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves.

It looks cute. Free to play? No thankyou. I like to buy a fully finished and functional game, one that doesn't paywall content in addition to the first price cost. The only free games I like are abandonware that come with no monetary costs attached at all. Just thinking of the word abandonware brings back fun memories of my younger gaming days. This might have been a game I'd buy to play just given by it's aesthetics. This game brings memories of Final Fantasy X2. A game of wardrobe changes. Graphic intensive just means there needs more optimization to get everything to function smoothly. LOD could certainly use a lot of work which would help increase view distance, and reduce popping. Calls into question if these assets were store bought rather than self made. It's really odd to be using high quality assets for game in development unless it's closer to full release.

I absolutely HATE microtransactions but i think the mobile esc system might be good at bringing more girls into gaming. Not a lot of games target women and so the number of girls interested in video games is unsurprisingly quite low compared with mobile games. The free to play aspect will tempt them in and they will probably be ok with spending a small ammount of money if they've played a phone game even once in their life. I hope it does gring more girlies in so we get more games targeting us as a primary audience rather than an afterthought. But I hope after the success they can any and all microtransactions in future games (pipe dream I know)

I can't say for all the other girls, but I personally play mostly mobile games because they are mobile and I have little free time at home to play. I actually hate microtransactions because I don't have a "walking wallet" whose money I can spend.

Most likely female audience but probably gacha addicts as well. Don't worry, gacha games tend to be like that, praises before the release then doomposts when its launch. It's getting the usual hype before it will be release. I won't be surprised if the first 2 weeks or month of this game would be too chaotic and lots of doomposts. It's the usual cycle.

There's lots of people who like dress up games! I would assume we're mostly women/girls, but not all of us. As an audience we're not taken seriously or included in regular "gaming" discussions so it makes sense that if this isn't your interest you might not have heard much about it. There's been a lot of anticipation for this game because it was announced so long ago, and it's predecessor Shining Nikki was popular. In terms of current games we don't have many 'proper' games choose from, just things like Everskies and Roblox dress up games. The last real dress up game release was probably Style Savvy, and it didn't do great. We're a starved niche!

I did however like the exploration and the magical/fantastical aspect of the game. I'll probably recommend it to my niece. She will probably adore this game to oblivion.
