ILP will restrict people from entering there after it will lead to downfall of economy. There there will be no tourist no jobs no hotels etc

ILP is old British rule, it is restrictions to british subjects, not to venture in hostile Tribal areas. But it is still effect, though Govt, Adm, police Judiciary, Land all in Tribal hands. ILP must be removed from NE, it is alienating Indians from Indians, indians treated as 2nd class citizens. Inside ILP conversion going on, missionaries are active, hence Hindus are treated as Outsiders. Insurgency carried out. Pl do not appreciate ILP. The dividing line. It was only for British safety during colonial rule.

The concept of ILP seems utterly nonsensical to me. Instead, we should adopt a mindset similar to China's in how they are improving their one China policy. While I understand that some states in the Northeast value their cultural heritage and are cautious about outsiders entering their area, the idea of requiring permits gives the impression that these states are separate from the rest of India. China exploits this, and in my opinion, state governments should focus on the development of their states and implement advanced security systems rather than resorting to such measures. The introduction of any policy that makes any Indian citizen feel alienated or different from others should be avoided at all costs. Today, many Indians mistakenly perceive people from the Northeast as separate, leading to racial discrimination. This is primarily due to the negligence of both state and central governments. The Northeast has immense potential to unlock a thriving tourist industry akin to that of Thailand or Singapore. Unfortunately, the government fails to prioritize the region's development. It's disheartening that some Indians are unaware that the Northeast is an integral part of India, and some may not even know the names of the states in the region. This ignorance stems from political parties' focus on spending exorbitant amounts on election campaigns rather than promoting and improving the tourist industry and transportation system in the Northeast. This neglect is precisely why China has surged ahead, surpassing the USA in terms of economic development, by prioritizing infrastructure and economic growth.
