What is inside a Foxeer Micro Lollipop FPV Antenna?

Thank you for opening one up! At a glance this looks like an AXII antenna wound tighter. Certainly glad it’s not just another linear dipole in disguise! (Looking at you, EMAX!)

To me they look quite similar to the DJI FPV stock antennas, don't they? Would be the same size... In a quick test they performed considerably worse than the normal lollipop for me. (DJI FPV, 25, had to turn around at 250m where I could easily fly 460m with std sized lollis. Will post a vid soon

That's interesting. I was actually wondering whether there was a performance cost to the smaller size. If it is such a large cost as you've seen, I would just use the big ones in quads...

Have you done a comparison of the micro against the regular lolipop antennas?

You forgot to include the feed from the centre in your measuring...It may as well be a bent paperclip TBH, that thick plastic sleeve must detune it...They get away with murder with these 5.8g antennas because most people do not have access to a meter capable of measuring their performance.

Didn't expect that they actually put some effort in the design. But on the other hand I'm thinking they probably just stole this from VAS or TRUERC. Have to say the Lollipop 3 never worked for me, tried several on different quads and had noticeable more breakups compared to the old Triumph and Aomway clover. Love how compact they are but I'll stick to the larger ones.

You need to get an ultrasonic knife, it would have made taking that apart much easier

są żółte. Czy to złoto, trudno powiedzieć. Zakładając że jest to złoto, to ja bym się tym za bardzo nie podniecał, bo to pewnie 1-2um powłoki galwanicznej
