This part is much better done regardless of the stupid title, but I want to say that we Albanian know and accept the existence of minorities and a majority of 82-85 % would not surprise many of us even though it is also a fact that a considerate number of Albanians were forced to declare themselves as a Greek minority in order to have an easier time with paperwork in Greece in the 90's and early 2000. so it is debatable but i would not make a big deal out of it, at this point. As for the blue eyed and blond you are wrong, while they do not make the majority they are quite spread, As an example 1.3 of my cousins have blue eyes, and medium to dark blond hair. out of 4 grandparents one had blue eyes, the other green and the other two hazel and brown, my great-grandmother had red hair, very fair skin with freckles like the Irish. And most of us have fair skin even though we prefer a bit of a tan in the warmer season and we spend a lot of time tanning in the beach during summer time. As for the expensive cars it is mostly in Tirana, and most people are modest and even though your guide might be partially right it is also because these people that like expensive cars have already one or more houses and apartments or they know they cannot afford an apartment, especially in Tirana and in some coastal cities so they settle for a car instead

I really liked it in the first half but the second had a lot of misinformation and “hate”. -the Skenderbeg square is full of food kiosks or concerts most of the time. -we have a lot of blonde/blue eyed people -we have a big tolerance of religion because most of us dont care about religion -the fact you had to go to arab restaurants for meat is unacceptable 😭 albanian have meat in almost every dish. And as an albanian that have spent here 23 years, arab restaurants are soooo rare. I never in my life thought or heard anyone going there. Go in the mountains, they have the best meat. -coffee is very famous in albania, espresso and macchiato are the most common. Older generations love their coffee strong and bitter while younger drink milk ones. You have to specify if you want cold or hot milk when you order -most albanian breakfast consists of coffee and cigarettes -romas are very judged unfortunately and their only way of making money are music or begging for money. Their music (tallava) is listened a lot but also hated. No one listens to turkish music tho…

Great video, by the way! Just a bit of background for people who don't know. In terms of religion, it should be differentiated between having a 'Muslim heritage' and being a 'Practising Muslim'. With the greatest respect for anyone's belief, it should be said that very often international media sources proclaim that Albania is 70% Muslim! Wrong!! There was a point in Albanian history when many Albanians converted to Islam for certain reasons (research homework for people who wanted to know more on this!). Banning religion in 1960's, the communist system broke that pattern of being 70% Muslim and the rest belonging to other beliefs! Most of people after 1960's were raised without practising open any religions (some tried in conspiracy and paid a high price for it!!). After 90's (after communist era end!), the religion started to establish in the country (being free to do so). People started practicing religion they wished (Muslims, Christians, and the rest!). However, as lots of Albanian natives know, practising Muslims (which belong to a moderated Islamic sect) are nowhere to 70% as proclaimed by some sources (very often in a negative connotation / perspective!!). It's a fact, most of todays' Albanians are atheists! My final point, religion in Albania has not any powers / influence to the state / government matters, at the level it has in other countries such as Greece, Serbia, Russia, etc! Religion differences are rarely pointed out in the society (e.g. there are countless of mixed families in terms of religion). Albanians say 'the religion of Albania is Albanianism!)!!!

What kind of crap did i just hear? 1- Albania is earthquake safe? 😂 albania has 3 active major fault lines that can generate earthquakes up to 7M.
