I think that the guy feels guilty about having a fun wedding when his Mum is no more. He needs to ask himself if his Mum will want him to be sad on this day or if she’d be dancing from heaven. He needs to know it’s OK to celebrate and remember her during the process.

My friend used strong head to marry a man like this. He didn't let her invite any of her friends to her wedding, only two of his friends were present. They went to court to sign documents. No lunch, no party, nothing after. The suffering she has suffered. It took her three years of begging to convince him to move to a house from his bachelor pad, he's now threatening that he doesn't want to have children-- after rushing her for years to marry nitori children. So this lady's best bet is to calmly return his ring. How can you be a whole doctor, getting married in the corner of a living room like a lizard. Abeg. Something's not adding up, and she best figure it out before she marries him.

And I'm not sure if this is the person she should be tying the rest of her life too. If the one day she has been preparing for the longest time he's just wanting to get the day over and done with.
