Great job explaining that. It's definitely a culture and an intensive form of inner expression. The soul really escapes the body through skates. Another aspect of Jam skating is that skaters are liberated on the floor and are expected to make use of all the space within the rink / park. They do so by opening up in many directions while others are freely doing the same thing. It's why it can be really hard for new skaters to enter a floor with jam skaters who are going nuts all over the place. The goal is to reject order and flow until all the energies are perfectly aligned. Let's do it!!

Most of the footage is breakskating not jam skating. This is a more modern version of what jam skating is. Actual jamming doesn't involve being on your hands. Still looks cool though.

That is not jam skating For your information. Jam skating was created back in the late 70s and early 80s In san Antonio . That was original jam skating. Skate Center South in San Antonio was the The place where it all started. The best jam skaters in the Country.
