This has encouraged greatly. I hope it does the same for you and your sons: "In all times and in all places, in all sorrows and all afflictions, when the outlook seems dark and the future perplexing, and we feel helpless and alone, the Comforter (Holy Spirit) will be sent in answer to to the prayer of faith. Circumstances may separate us from every earthly friend; but no circumstance, no distance can separate us from the Heavenly Comforter. Wherever we are , wherever we may go, He is ALWAYS at our right hand to SUPPORT, SUSTAIN, UPHOLD, and CHEER. E.G.W, DESIRE OF Ages, p.669/670 To that I add, and to answer prayers, especially for salvation and also for our daily bread and water. Bread shall be given them; their water shall be sure! Thank you Pastor Finley for all the powerful teaching. We can’t be church pews warmer every week end and be like the world from Sunday to Friday. That is the reason the world is not convinced when we talk about our Faith. Time is running out and we have to buckle up and be serious and do only what our Lord JESUS tell us to do. We can’t just take our faith at face value and be the devil, continue to sin and think all our sins are forgiven by JESUS and we have nothing to worry and still get to go to heaven when HE comes. So sad to be hoot wind by smooth talking pastors of today to increase their church numbers and the money coming in. We can be anything we want to be and still go to heaven. So deceitful and absurd. But, you are different and tell the way it should be. Thank you and I pray the LORD will use you mighty for the extension of HIS kingdom. JESUS is everything we need in this life. Powerful pointers from the Sanctuary! Thank you Pastor Mark. It was understanding the *Sanctuary message after the 1844 Disappointment that unlocked the wonderful truths peculiar to Seventh-day Adventists. *The truth of the second coming *The true Seventh-day Sabbath *The true state or condition of mankind in death *The prophetic gift *The Health Reform message All these are plainly taught in Sacred Scripture but were lost in the darkness of the Middle Ages when the Roman Church traditions were elevated to equal or higher authority than the Bible. Some errors were corrected, but most errors are retained by the Protestant churches till today. May our dear Father help us to understand and receive these precious truths for the sanctification of our lives. (See John 17:17)
