What is John Dewey Pragmatism ? Experientialism || Instrumentalism

Pragmatism, as educational philosophy is school of thought which advocates for a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. John Dewey is among founders of Pragmatism. It is also known as Experientialism and Instrumentalism. It is utilitarian theory and urges individuals to assess situations based on their practical implications and choose actions that lead to the most favorable outcomes. In essence, pragmatism is a mindset that values adaptability and the willingness to adjust one's beliefs or methods in response to changing circumstances. This pragmatic perspective can be a powerful tool in navigating complex and dynamic environments, whether in personal decision-making or in broader societal contexts. Embracing pragmatism empowers individuals to make informed choices that prioritize practicality and effectiveness, ultimately enhancing their ability to achieve their goals.

Pragma means practical, it gives solution of real life Problems. It's syllabus focuses on Problem solving and practical work which is beneficial in life. Progressive movement gives more liberties to students, free discipline, social reforms through education. Students can study whatever they want. It is more liberal than Pragmatism. (I will make detailed video as well)
