Do Tulku Rinpoche offers us a unique glimpse into the nature of cause and effect, and helps us note the subtleties through use of clear examples of how it works. Karma, or action, is also connected to our motivation, which may be positive, negative or even a mixture. The result is not always direct or simple to understand, but each cause unevitably holds a result, maybe not immediately, but all actions are certain to ripen in the future. It could be now, in the future, or even in another lifetime. Negative actions produce suffering. Thoughts that are free from attachment, anger or ignorance, performed through compassion and kindness, bring about positive results leading us to the enlightened state. Through realization of the wisdom mind, the main cause of both temporal and ultimate happiness are achieved.
This event is part of the Celebration of Dharma 2024 to honour H.H. Sakya Gongma Trichen's 80th birthday, Tsechen Namdrol Ling's tenth anniversary, and one year since the auspicious acquisition of its Retreat House & Land at Jemez Springs, New Mexico, our permanent location. May all beings be free from suffering and its causes. Sarvamangalam.
