As a Keralite, I kept wondering, this video subliminally portrays Kerala as a place away from modern civilization, also look at the small clip about Delhi, looks shabby and fit for a thrid world country. Showing a clip like a few woman washing clothes and plates in "murky waters" then exclaims Keralites must have "incredible immune system" is suggestive of "unhygienic" lifestyle? Kerala hygiene and cleanliness are excellent, it's literacy and education are brilliant, its health system par many European countries, the medical and dental facilities are often superior to First World countries. Kochi has a great variety of places that's very similar to Europe, yet, *Western media are often fascinated and looking for places that satisfies the expectations of a third world country* . I am not accusing you, but your video is kind of not showing the real Kerala. Thanks anyway for your visit to God's Own Country :) *Pinne Kaanaam*

There is a lot more to see in Kerala. From the backwaters to the western Ghats. The diversity in such a small region is amazing. I am a Keralite, and I think instead of going after industrialisation and commercialisation, Its better to earn from Tourism. Being from Alleppey, Kerala is a mix of cultures immersed in a culture, you find totally different cultures in kerala that are just exponentially centralising one culture of being a malayali, Alleppey being the tropical paradise, Thrissur being the aesthetic centre, Kozhikode being the good food and good art bucket, Idukki being the hilltop paradise and ernakulam city being a better version of hybrid of the city , history , art and geography, and along with trivandrum being a mini version of kerala with slight creaam of tamil culture.

Proud to be a malayali.When u revisit Kerala come to Trivandrum. It's a beautiful place u will able to see the city life as well as the village life.The famous padhmanabha Swamy temple,Attukal temple.There are lots of tourist destination in Trivandrum.😍
