What is Kisewata? [Sweets Tales]

In this episode of Sweets Tales, we take a look at a very special wagashi made for the "Double Ninth Festival" (also known as the Chrysanthemum Festival).
According to Chinese tradition, nine is a yang number and thus the ninth day of the ninth month has too much yang. To protect against danger, it is customary to drink chrysanthemum wine and observe other good luck rituals on that day.
