Mochi Connected by Family Over 300 Years [Sweets Tales]

In this episode of Sweets Tales, we visit a family-run sweets shop located on the old Tokaido route connecting Tokyo and Kyoto that has been in business for over 300 years. The shop specializes in Abekawa mochi, which as a soft, chewy base and is coated with sweetened kinako flour.
Sweets Tales is an original documentary on Japanese wagashi sweets and the people who make them.
